or you could just cough up $50 for the experience of a lifetime and be able to play it until you get old and pass it off to your grandchildren to experience what epic gaming was like in year 2011

If I want to get it for my grandchildren I'll get the ultimate edition with every expansion and DLC for $20 lol.
the sad thing is, I refuse to buy starcraft 2 until I can get it on sale for $20 or less as I bum off my roommate's SC2 account but I'd happily be able to dish out $50 bucks for this

Games from not even 20 years ago aren't being produced anymore. Can't exactly rely on being able to buy a game in 10+ years from now.

then what's the point of renting it for like $20 when you can just get the ultimate edition? lol

New + every expansion is like 80 or 90 dollars. Renting + waiting for the GOTY edition is like 40. not hard math

Talking about money, it comes down to the gamer. I wouldn't pay more than 30$ for an article of clothing but id happily shove 80$ over for a collector's edition of most games.
