you are aware that you can start a ME2 / ME3 career without having a savegame from the previous version?
You can't choose what happened though.
It will probably take less then a week before a trainer is out that will let you make a custom ME2 import with all choises of your choise. Just like there already is for ME2.
For xbox?
There's already "trainers", for PC; or at least websites where you can download profiles with whatever choices you select upon download. Not sure about the 360 version. Google is your friend mate, look around a bit
on pc it's rather simple, search for MassEffect in c:\user\<yourusername>, should pop up a few folders, one of which (for each me and me2) contains the safegames. It'd surprise me if those were bound to specific accounts or something, i expect you can just copy those onto different machines no problem.
gibbed's ME2 editor works for xbox360 saves as well I think. Not sure how well it'll work if you make a new one from scratch (only used it so I didnt have to do the planet mining after my 1st playthrough of ME2) but you should atleast give it a shot.
For anyone else who is missing their Mass Effect saves on Xbox, I noticed that there's a DLC (I think it's like 320 points, which is less than $5) for Mass Effect 2 that lets you construct a Mass Effect 1 save/playthrough. I haven't tried it yet (I just finished ME1 and have moved onto ME2 with my continuation save), but I will to help speed up creating a new character.
Agree on Vega potentially becoming another Jacob. Other than that, looking good as always Easily my most anticipated game of 2012, after Diablo 3 of course.
I still don't understand why every company refuses to allow you to play through the SP story/campaign with friends, it can't be THAT difficult to program. Borderlands was honestly pretty terrible but it was SO much fun because you got to play through it with friends; I'm just sad that a multiplayer Skyrim/ME/whatever doesn't exist.
