Serejai puts a big boarder ring into the map so there is a limited amount of space you can explore to. This is done for performance reasons, although it's entirely arbitrary. Servers are capable of creating indefinite maps, but then greifers can do fun things like write a script that wanders in one direction for 78 hours and forces the map size of the server up to 5 gigs, which starts to get incredibly taxing on your hardware. | ||
