 i bet there's plenty more. The one he fixed apparently just was one that could not ever go unnoticed, because it was like a 1000 on a 1 to 10 scale from the sounds of his blog post. | ||

Anyway, server may be back up tomorrow. Some of the annoying things like block respawns have been fixed. I know these recent patches have completely ruined the game, but things look to be getting back on track. Also, I would like to state that I expect beta out sometime before the end of this year. When beta releases, there will be drastic changes across the board to how these servers are ran. Will give you guys more information as I make some final decisions. | ||

I'll be opening the server for testing tomorrow. I can say that a lot of the more annoying bugs seem to have been fixed (block respawning, items not being lootable). Health is still a mess, though. | ||

For example... in Notch's Bug Update #3 he says he fixed damage animations and stuff. In fact, he actually broke them completely, as they no longer show up at all. So basically anything he says about health needs to be taken with a grain of salt to begin with. A lot of it simply doesn't work yet. Now, the stuff that does work tends to work relatively well, but still has glaring issues that prevent it from being enabled. For example, players seem to be able to turn invincible. A side effect of being invincible is that you can't loot any items, and relogging doesn't seem to fix the issue... which means I have to delete your player file, which removes all your stuff. I don't really want to talk about the current state of this game right now, as it feels similar to what I can only imagine I would feel if I saw a loved one get violated mercilessly in front of me. That being said, I think the server will be playable as it was pre-Boo Update sometime tomorrow if all goes well. | ||
