It does dig for answers, but I'd rather just play more answers I think (or snapcaster mage), since a lot of the time with this guy you are getting nothing. In a deck with 20 instants/sorceries, you are almost 30% to not be able to take anything, and I don't think a deck playing this guy could fit that many spells. Yah, I think you maybe right. I still like the card - depends on the environment. A tad bit slower and this card will be pretty good. If I can pull out a Day of Judgement (or whatever replaces it,) that'll be cool. Control!

How can magic-league.com claim it's free, shouldn't wizards roll right over them with lawsuits?

How can magic-league.com claim it's free, shouldn't wizards roll right over them with lawsuits? I am not an expert on this, but I believe Wizards can't get you in any trouble for using card text. Images are what get you, and the free magic programs don't come with them I think? I play Magic Online so I could be wrong about this, but when I played on MWS I remember having to get card images from a separate location. Do you play paper magic? Magic Online is a little cheaper to play constructed and a little more expensive to play limited. If you don't play paper magic and what I just said is meaningless to you, you can probably get started with a competitive, fun deck for $50-$100, which would last you for quite a while

Also, I don't think any of these organizations actually make a profit from their work.

It's the same thing with Salvation where it's a tentative don't-step-over-the-understood-line and everything will be gravy. Those online communities are viewed more as dedicated fans of the game unless they do something stupid like a certain master list spoiler of NPH. The communities themselves have strict rules regarding their behavior and their mods will regulate accordingly. Pretty much both parties understand where the line is and work not to aggravate the other. Also, I don't think any of these organizations actually make a profit from their work. The NPH master list was due to a few pros (which raises the question of the rich getting richer, in terms of information availability) leaking it then the list wound up on mtgs

Sell your cards in the classifieds. There's not much more to it than that -- selling to humans is usually a little more profitable than selling to bots, since you meet in the middle of the bot's buy/sell basically, but it can be slow. Also, if you are buying packs from the store, don't do that, since they cost <4 tickets from bots. Also, does anyone here know how to draft Invasion block? I did a draft and won it (subtle brag) with Cavern Harpy control, but I didn't play Magic back then and I had to read all the cards. Anything notably different compared to more recent drafts?

IPA is all about bears and being in the right 'shard' of colours (grixis, bant, esper, naya, jund). also viable is 5c green. grixis is the best shard to be in because of the SUPER powerhouse uncommons. esper is probably second, you are given two tappers at common and a bunch of very relevant removal. inability to kick agnonising demise kinda sucks but what can you do. all the green based shards are probably better off as 5c green with very greedy splashes. trust me you can pick up a lot of fixing for cheap and roll with it that way. dragons are insta p1p1, ditto fof, etc, $$$ ![]()

I am honestly looking forward to a core set limited format thanks to how inconsistent AVR drafts are. You open packs and it regularly goes something like P1P1-Bomb followed by P1P2-unexciting 2 drop that you are excited for cause the set is so awkward. Looking at people's draft videos, personal experience, and running iterations on online draft simulators (something I never had to do before), the inconsistency in playables is so maddening. Edit: I started running sims simply because I was like stupidly lost in AVR drafts after 2 weeks of its release. Like I am not some super drafter, but it felt like I just pulled random cards out of the packs and hoped to get there.

I've played some Duel of the planeswalker on the PS3 and I love the game even though I don't understand much, perhaps if some other noob wanna play, I'm in =) No and yes, sort of depends on who you play with and what you're trying to learn. If you're starting out, people will generally be merciful and help you out. Beyond that, my friends' teaching methods were "Keep making stupid mistakes until you lose enough games to look out for those mistakes". But it totally depends. And god was that not helpful at all, was it?

Typically, do more cards wheel around the table, i.e. you draft in the knowledge that something that you want can/should come back to you?
