Most players I know would rather draft core set than Zen/Zen/Zen or Zen/Zen/Wwk. I mean, it was bad enough that RoE draft had to ditch the preceding two sets (and was much better for it).

I'm busy though hopefully I'll go drafting sometime this weekend :D and sooo, grindclock is useful in limited :O? Too situational, I tried it solely as removal bait for a 2 drop in a blue metalcraft deck, even then it's not that great. Think I got it to 4 counters once that draft.

I won more games with ravager mirrors off of Disciple of the Vault than anybody else just cause understanding active player(such a simple rule really..).. At the pro tour, most rules we know don't really make a difference.. also talking about rules, I'm a complete dick at the competitive level, I got called a dick(not in those exact words), by a judge for calling Zvi Mowshowitz on not calling his cobra triggers ... I don't understand people that rules monger in FNMs and stuff though, I let everyone take stuff back,(miss triggers and stuff).. and then I just don't take anything back since it makes me a better player

If I would let people take stuff back they won't learn anything. Carefully following the rules is always better than not at a competitive level.

FNM is just a fun tournament on a friday night, hardly competitive at all imo. Desperate to win a few packs?

EDIT: On second thought I guess it depends on where you're playing. In a big store in New York is probably more competitive than in a small town where everyone knows eachother. I'd still follow the rules though, no reason not to.
