it looks like you have 4 maps and if you want to kill someone you have to hang around in these pvp maps. which are not grinding maps but instead "pvp only" maps where everyone goes to pvp or wvw or siege or whatever it is.

There is no world pvp, instead you have sPvP (sorry of like battle ground) and wvw which is a open pvp map where three servers fight over control of it. There is also sPvP tournaments which are 5v5 instead of 8v8.

I am planning on doing WvW more than sPvP I tried him for BWE 3 , his damage is really bad unless you go rifle ![]() Pistol engi is fine. It's heavy condition damages which rely on applying burning bleed and poison as often as possible. No big numbers but heavy sustain dps actually.

Do you have to be shapeshifted to be efficient in combat or is it only for specific tasks ? Do you transform in the animal(s) and keep your gear and/or weapons ? Thank you ! Shapeshifting was pretty much the essential and defining characteristic of druids in WoW. Norn CAN shapeshift into several animal forms through their elite (afaik) skill - but these are racial elite skills and racial skills in general are meant to add flavor to the race and are as such not as powerful as prof. skills. When you activate the skill, your char will transform and your weapon-based skills (1-5) will be replaced by form-specific skills. I'm fairly sure the transform is time-limited, so you can't shift permanently like druids could. All-in-all, shapeshifting will be a much, much smaller deal for Norn than it was for druids.

-Team Legacy started as all Team Liquid members. Yes. Really. We all were huge fans of TL and many of us integrated with Liquid projects all over. -The original idea in 2010 was to be a Team Liquid guild, nothing serious, nothing too casual. -Late 2010 we realized we could be something a lot bigger, and seperated from this website to form our own. -We wanted our guild/community to have the same intelligence and open-ended theorycrafting as what you'll find here on TL, we knew also by continuing to recruit liquid members, we could keep a "family" feel. -As things became more serious, we saw the shortcomings of Team Liquid, the fact that in reality, there are a lot of pretty horrible and drama-mongering players in this community. -From August 2010 -> Feb 2011 we were Team Liquid only recruiters. then we realized we could do better, and opened to everyone, establishing an official process to filter out not only new recruits, but screen our existing members to get rid of the trolls/useless dead weight. -Efficiency skyrocketed, we were developing new ideas and promotions all the time with a leaner/meaner guild roster full of really dedicated members, mostly at that time TL posters. -Popularity picked up, and we quickly outgrew our "Team Liquid" beginnings and became a melting pot for all sorts of gamers, from all sorts of communities. -We are anything but a Team Liquid guild now, but I never forget how it originally started. Despite what the trolls/filth of these boards would say, everything from Tales of Tyria to our website, to our community presence on guru, reddit etc. is our hard work. Nowhere along the way will you see Team Liquid mentioned, not even once. To this day, for the last 2 years, we have not brought up Team Liquid in relation to our guild, except to explain to new members where we all started. Keep in mind however, whenever the topic of eSports comes up, we are the first ones to jump in and say "Team Liquid" does esports the RIGHT way, and promote the heck out of it. Call us fanbois. Thanks for your understanding. P.S. We have since changed this thread to promote ALL guilds, and have done so since. There only was 2 "Team Liquid" guilds that arose since we started, and we promoted them like crazy. The US guild died. The EU guild is still going strong. Should anyone found a new US guild, we will do everything we can to promote it/put it on the OP, as they would take the title as the official US guild. My name is Freelancer in the community btw.

I think you are right. After further searching in the wikia, you can see here for example that the bear form lasts 30 seconds and has a 240 seconds coolddwon, so it's a little bit like the Orc's Blood Fury.

Then I thought about pre-purchasing it again before the most recent stress-test, and again I didn't. Now there's a stress-test tomorrow and I really want to pre-purchase the game, but I still haven't. This game looks so beautiful but I can't trust myself with buying MMORPGs or any game right now. Well, all I'll say is that keep in mind that there is no subscription fee or anything similar. Once you buy it, there is no obligation to play every day or every week even because there is no gear grind, no level grind, you're not paying anything. You can log in whenever you feel like and join the action whenever you feel like.
