Does any mob with a skull on it classify as boss? I'm hunting BAMs on my berserker, and i don't know what crystals to stack for maximum damage from behind. (fighting these frimbalisks at 26 )
right now: its (.68% crit bonus from behind a boss + .64 crit from behind + 2.1% increased crit chance)

Kinda mad how rediculously large the game file is, left it overnight for the second time only to wake to it not done. DL speed went from 800kbs-100kbs overnight somehow and was not able to dl it in time so I stopped a deleted. Kinda dissapointed tbh. Was really wanting to try it out

Alright, figured as much. I'm only messing around since its the beta..the Nagas were soloable and fast from 22-26, and then i did manor. but grinding the lisks is doable, but it takes so damn long considering they are fast and repeatedly spam attacks that i don't think itd be worth the time. i did get a 12k crit earlier though haha

Pretty much the end of the beta..after a last guild photo + massive GvG at the mansion at the Velika Outskirts. where we held the steps against 5 different groups.
The EU CBT has its last run this Friday too, and there's a lot of anticipation for what changes to gameplay the OBT client will bring.

Only class I haven't tried out yet is the Archer..anyone play one? Watching some max level pvp videos, they deal insane numbers in 1v1,1v2 while remaining untouched.
My first was a Slayer, and I ended up feeling like I did trash damage in pve/leveling, compared to a zerker. also, i was finally able to solo the frimbalisk as a zerker..it was pretty much impossible as my slayer unless i wanted to take 30 minutes for one kill.

I'm hearing conflicting reports about Slayers and Zerkers are max level. :o Some are saying Sorc/Slayer are the top PvE DPS, and ofc Slayer can hold their own in any 1v1 and in group PvP.

During game people were saying that open beta characters won't get wiped out for preorders when the game launches. Can anyone confirm this? I tried looking at the official website but the statement wasnt very clear.

EU open beta = wipe
NA open beta = no wipe. Pre order or not your character will not be wiped.

My bigger concern is reading people saying that archer/berserker are at the bottom of the PvE totem pole atm, because the encounters at 60 require high mobility and aren't conducive towards rng crits and charge up skills (which both archers and berserkers rely upon.) I guess I'm wondering whether the new dodge that Berserkers get at 60 can be used offensively to make up for the mobility issues.

I don't know for certain, as I haven't been 60 on k-tera for long. But from what I understand. The desired PvE dps list goes sorc > slayer > warrior > archer > zerker.
Sorc just has the highest aoe and close to highest boss dps. Not to mention it is ranged.
Slayer has the highest single target dps. Good aoe now with the recent changes to how their cleaves split damage.
Warrior has equal dps to archer / zerker with the new changes + best mobility as a melee and a debuff that increases damage done for all characters by 10%~.
Archers are just ranged dps with very limited utility, dps also is not one of the highest, though not too far behind.
Zerkers, though they have the biggest numbers (the new slayer 60 skill makes even this arguable though) it is not efficient dps, zerkers are also the last mobile melee, I believe.
To be honest, in the end as long as you have a group of friends to play with it doesn't really matter, and it is super beneficial to play with a constant group of friends. The best groups are always closed groups and not pubs.

I figured warriors would end up replacing zerkers as the 5th in a desirable group with their eventual tweaks, but is rib crusher that unhelpful in combating the new instances that they dropped all the way to the bottom?

Warriors are considered by many to be OP in group and single PvP since they can lock down targets for a long long time with spells like:
Backstab (which has a cooldown reset glyph), Cascade of stuns (also cooldown reset glyph) Staggering counter (ALSO cooldown reset glyph and short cooldown to begin with) 5 percent stun on every combo attack.
In PvE, Koreans consider the best makeup to be Sorc, Slayer, Warrior. Encounters are too dynamic for the super long charge times for the Berserker. Or in some cases a window is not open long enough for the Berserker to shine.
Archers are also along the same lines. But not as bad.
That being said if you had a hypothetical enemy that stood still all day. Berserkers would definitely churn out the highest DPS.
While it doesn't mean you can't do the hardest content as an Archer or a Berserker, many Koreans won't even attempt certain hardmodes if they have both an Archer AND a Berserker.

One more thing, what craft professions are considered the most valuable outside of alchemy which everybody ends up pumping time into? Nobody even spends time on gear crafting other than to use as enchant fodder when gbank is empty of junk..

I wouldn't mind having a TL guild in Tera, but I won't be a part of it unless I'm positive we can avoid the problems that the WoW guilds have had in the past. That is, our members would be dedicated and we'd be exclusive - simply being a member on TL isn't enough.
