Which character is the most twitchiest in Tera? When I think of a twitchy class I think of one that moves around and dodges a little too much. Kind of like a fly that you're trying to swat in your kitchen. If you try to keep an eye on it you end up getting really dizzy and slightly inebriated. This is like the feeling I get from watching Slayer and Warrior pvp videos, so I would say that they're both pretty damn twitchy. But I am not sure which one to choose. Warrior has many dodges but they seem locked into their animations and they seem more tactical with their stuns. Slayer seems to be the most jumpy. Is this true? Thanks guys!

I mean, is there anybody who found the trailer to be 'epic'? It was just EXTREMELY boring and there was nothing that I can't get playing WoW. And I don't like WoW btw. HF to those who play though. What an absolute rubbish post. I don't think you've ever played WoW or TERA before.

On a side note, has anybody here actually hung around velika for the thulsa event the last two days?

Character creation system was pretty cool. If u play with a LOT of friends, you can abuse the shit out of the GvG system which could lead to EPIC GvG nonsense (Yes 1000 guys killing each other outside some city), and PK everyone all day long. Is it better than TOR? yes as a MMO is way better, not as a SPMMO (quest system is boring as hell, you level quickly though). Is it better than GW2? I dont know but i would place my bet on GW2. Glad to hear opinions of other players and what did they like about the game(specially pvp experience(fair fights), i dont know if BGs are available). EDIT: It reminds me of lifeage a lot, I really hate that game.

Unless you mean for healing. And one spell for sorcs, and a sleep for sorcs and a sleep for priests, and an AOE for archers. I just listed every targeted spell in the game I think.

If you're someone who has played tonnes of MMOs and are expecting a whole new world of fun from the new action combat system from playing "a while" you will be disappointed. The first 20 or so levels, besides the new combat system & gorgeous graphics, are exactly like every other MMO out there. You also get very few of your full array of skills. The full set of skills really does define your class and the enjoyment you get from playing the game. At level 20 + and onwards, Dungeons and world BAMs (world bosses or elite mobs basically) are quite enjoyable and somewhat unique to TERA. That is if you are up for the challenge and don't mind a little frustration in learning the moves each of them have. PvP is quite something else. Skill is a massive factor in PvP, it will be painfully obvious if you are a worse player than someone else, gear levels equal of course. I personally tend to dislike GvG massive zergs as there is really little to no room for finesse play and what not. While leveling (which if you are a veteran MMO player who can afford to play 3-5hrs daily should take you under 3 weeks to hit max level.), you will get ganked (if you are on a pvp server) and almost always it will be more than 1 person or the person will be of a much higher level than you. You can do nothing to stop this, you either switch channels, quest somewhere else or just straight up outplay them ^__^. Oh, also PvP is somewhat not balanced around 1v1, although because of how much skill is a factor, this can vary. There is also "Arena" like ranked PvP 5v5 Battlegrounds. If you are fortunate enough to have 4 other good friends to play with you, the combat system coupled with arranged PvP matches is immensely fun. Lag is a massive issue here, some classes are at nearly an insufferable disadvantage from lag in PvP. Being a top team in PvP gives you access to political seats. Endgame - - Political system in the simplest form is part of the end-game in Tera. Each guildmaster can run for a political seat, which in turn lets you tax / adjust some factors in a zone / town. - Dungeons. Normal dungeons have a 1hr reset. Hard mode dungeons have a 6hr reset. You basically don't run out of a dungeon to run ever if you are up to it. - Money / Gear. Gear is very very very important. Like many other korean / asian mmos. There is an upgrading system that lets you + your gear up to +12. Getting the piece of gear is only the tip of the iceberg of your quest to min/maxing your gear. Fighting against someone with even slightly superior gear is like night and day in Tera, gear matters that much, this might be a plus for some and a minus for others take it as you will ^^. Oh and also because gear levels are determined mostly from upgrading, money is king in this game, which also means, if you feel like leveling a new char, all your money is transferable so it is a lot easier to reach similar levels of gear on your new char from the money you earned on your previous main. This, in my opinion, greatly increases the longevity of the game. I'd gladly answer what I can if anyone has any questions / comments.
