On a side note I've gotta echo the sentiment of being tired of fantasy. I've been caught rooting against certain players on my team because I was going up against them a certain week and I find the very idea repulsive (or rooting for players on teams I despise.) I think I'm done with fantasy after this year. Or, I'm going to do something really stupid next year and just try and draft players from my favorite team. Even though the Pats aren't playing next week I'm interested in these games.. Chiefs @ Indy Green Bay @ Washington Giants @ Houston Titans @ Dallas Vikings @ NYJ

I don't really blame him for not doing more runs either. I mean, what was he supposed to do? Most of the game, the Giants were lining up with 9 players in the box. Heck, those players were all on the line of scrimmage almost. If Martz runs the ball more, Forte gets killed too. And the game CERTAINLY wasn't Cutler's fault. It is inexcusable that the line + a RB + 2 TEs can't block a 4 man rush. The screen game doesn't work because the LBs were lining up right by the line and staying at home. And both WRs were double teamed and weren't going to get open before Cutler was on the ground. This game was just a showing by a strong d-line exposing a VERY weak o-line. Is it stupidly naive of me to be hoping somehow this game makes Angelo wake up and try to cut a deal for Logan Mankins?

http://www.wpxi.com/sports/21518756/detail.html Top dirtiest players in the league (think this was old, it was just menitoned in something I just read) Defenders are such babies. Heinz Ward gets #1 because he actually blocks downfield. I do not understand how Pomelau got in there, and I don't understand how Jared Allen is only 10. I like the dude, but he's a fucking jerkoff on the field

I'm sure a lot of players felt as though he was intentionally targeting the head to hurt players, and hitting guys who weren't in the play to hurt them. He's dirty. Icognito is dirty as fuck too. I'm surprised more Titans weren't mentioned.

And I've never bought the whole concept of hitting a guy who wasn't in the play. That shit has to be really egregious for me to think that (Sapp on that Packer OL years ago). Like when people flipped because Warner got murdered in the playoffs a year or two ago?? I don't understand that shit.

He's pissing me off, stealing catches from Wayne. And I don't mean Collie, this guy's last name is White). I have, very seriously, yet to see a criticism against Cutler and the Bears that really holds up against everything. No, he's not perfect, and maybe he's not as good as he looked in Denver, but people take that way too far, imo. I'm not saying anyone would succeed in what amounts to the Redskins situation #2, but there's nothing to say that Cutler would have succeeded anyways, because he looked brilliant in the Garden of Eden. The reason why I hate "him" (nothing against him personally, and I don't really care about Chicago) is because he's this undeserved whiny brat that everyone fawns over like the second coming of Steve Young.

Because Steve Young played behind a terrible line with a lack of WR's... wait, what? He had a great OLine, decent HB, and the best WR to ever play the game? Holy shit, it takes talent around you to be a good QB? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck, who would have guessed? In 94, Young was sacked 31 times. In 95 he was sacked 25 times. By comparison, Cutler was sacked 9 times in a half last week. In 94 Ricky Waters averaged 3.7 ypc, which is not great. The year before, he averaged 4.6 ypc. Not surprisingly, '93 is one of Young's best statistical years (his best actually came in a 48 sack season, though). You can continue to list names, and I'll continue to come back and say that they had good Olines, and WR's. He had a great situation in Denver, no one is denying that.... but nearly every other great QB had a great offense around them. Marino, Young, Favre (solid running games and good OLines, though he never really had a game-breaking WR, although Freeman was great), P. Manning, Brady, Montana, Aikman, Warner, and the list goes on. The one guy you can't say that about is McNabb. And when is he a whiny brat? Aside from getting out of Denver in an ugly manner, when has he ever been "whiny?" So many people say that, and all they can point to is that one time, but then they never take a player's perspective into account (see my long post about what a player might be thinking about).

Moss maybe headed to the Vikings again. I never guessed they'd deal him this early.

Well the best I can hope for with this is that they end up fleecing the Vikings in this trade. Shouldn't be too hard, but it worries me because Moss makes a lot of what they like to do with Edelman and Welker underneath possible. If the safeties have to play deep, and one has to shadow Moss no matter what, we can run the scrappy white guys around all day. Hopefully they get defensive talent if they make this trade. In the past Brady has gotten good offensive results with basically 0 talent at the skill positions, in fact this and a good defense was basically their formula in their superbowl years.

However, that does seem like it would be a pretty drastic move in regards to how they do this year. It obviously changes the offense alot without having that deep player stretching the field.
