Same thing with Moss when he left Oakland. Both then and now, I'd absolutely consider him within the top 10, if not top 5 WRs currently playing. Even teams that have better WRs as good or better than him, how the fuck would they not consider dropping a third to have a ridiculous WR core?? A third is practically nothing at all. Even a 2nd for him would be a steal

He doesn't have enough left in the tank to warrant a first, and a high second is stretching it a bit, unless you're an absolute contender. I think a 3rd + a player would have been reasonable too... this was a straight mugging that the Vikings put on the Patriots.

Based on them having Harvin et al. last year I'm guessing it won't be significant, but it matters to my fantasy team. Moss will be catching fades in the endzone (id hope if i was a vikings fan)

Shiancoe's gonna take a bit of hit in the RZ with Moss abusing corners on fades, but Moss's field stretching ability means he'll probably have a lot more LBs covering instead of faster safeties in the open field.

Sterling Sharpe was probably the best dude, but only there when Favre was literally a kid (not an indecisive 15 year old girl in a rickety old man's body). After that, Freeman, Walker, Driver and Jennings. All very good players, but not even close to Moss' ability. He is an athletic freak, even in his 30s. Yeah, you bring up a good point. I still don't think Shank loses that much value, because of what your second para says. I think since Champ Bailey will be sticking on Anquan Boldin, it opens up good opportunities for Mason. Colston is just... not productive at all. However, it's the Cardinals, so he could possibly do well... but who knows. Doesn't really matter. They both suck, and will likely net the same amount of points.

this makes AP owners so much happier Opponents have to respect moss and keep a safety back to double, leaves extra running room for peterson

Favre and Brees are throwing the ball around so much it's really hard to gauge who will perform better. Colston has been getting longer throws downfield and with a similar amount of targets, has gained more yards. Owning Colston myself and keeping him benched, I still say go with Colston this week, especially vs. Arizona. This could be his breakout week.
