Or it means that Favre just tries to throw the ball to moss every down, and starts turning the ball over like crazy so AP never gets a chance to get going

Hey, so is there anywhere that I can watch NFL games? Not live. I just wanna watch games that I can't watch on tv whenever the week is over.

Already playing Steven Jackson at RB. So either Thomas Jones or Ryan Mathews as my second RB. Which do you guys advise?

I would have to think Mathews against Oakland would be a safe bet. But Indy's run defense is so bad and Matt Cassel isn't someone I would trust to air it out a lot.
That's actually a tough one. I'm leaning slightly to Jones. Ever so slightly, though.

I really hate how I have two star tight ends in Gonzo and Keller. With favorable match-ups every week it's really hard to pick between the two.
Anyway some questions;
- Worth to start Torain over Bradshaw and McFadden at RB2? Both have gimped legs which is why I'm going for Torain. However at the moment he's set as my Flex and my RB2 is currently Bradshaw (RB1 Peterson of course). - That being said, if I should start Torain next to Peterson and take Bradshaw out, which WR should I put up as my flex starter? Holmes vs Minnesota or Clayton vs Detroit (I'm starting E Manning as my QB this week because Houston's pass defense is abysmal, so no Walter in the equation). - and the typical which TE question, Gonzo is up against Cleveland and Keller against Minnesota.

If i knew they were willing to trade Moss for a 3rd round draft pick i would have offered Bill my super hero card collection. Both are worth about the same. I'd LOVE to have a real life randy moss on my shelf.

youre a nice dude, but do you listen to ANYTHING anyone says to you in this thread?? i know that ive said specifically to you at least like twice that two tes is retarded unless your starter is on a bye and he's a stud. i know SL and others have said it too.
just trade keller for a back up wr/rb, or just drop him for someone with potential on waivers ... tate, lynch, forsett, etc are all owned by few people. sanchez sucks right now.

you know you can start two rbs and another in the flex?? That's almost always better, unless youre looking at a real bad mu, or the lesser back in an RBBC vs a starting WR. I'd just do peterson and bradshaw in the RB slots and torain in the flex (always include MUs for everyone, i dont know who wash is playing).
Holmes is facing a good D and has Sanchez at the helm... plus a running game, a te and another decent WR to battle with. Detroit fucking blows and Clayton's the #1 with a decent rookie playing.

I like having two TE's and playing MU's with them, actually. I normally roll with two myself. I love it. Still, if you have TWO stud TE's, and both are constantly having favorable MU's, it's a good idea to trade one. I'd move Keller, though. I don't trust Sanchez to not blow up in everyone's face. Besides, he's only 12, give him a break.

Last year, they traded away Richard Seymour, arguably their best defensive player, for a first rounder. Why couldn't they get anything similar to that for Moss, at least a second and third (like McNabb's deal)? Third rounders generally blow donkey balls.
I thought I saw that the Vikes got a 7th too?

oh i was nice. that was fairly nice by most people standards, not just my low ones! Im trying to beat a bad habit outta him now!!
Drafting 2 Tes in a one TE start league is always badddddd

well, 7th is useless either way, and thats in 2012 iirc.

Colston was a 7th round pick. Sometimes you strike gold there. Driver was a 6th or 7th, Brady was a 6th. It's nowhere near as solid as a high round pick, but still, it's another pick.

I have Gonzo and Keller too and have been putting him on the trade block week to week and no one is biting. I know Keller is better than 80% of my leagues TE's.

I have Brett Favre, QB, MIN Michael Vick, QB, PHI Calvin Johnson, WR, DET Michael Bush, RB, OAK Jonathan Stewart, RB, CAR Donald Brown, RB, IND Demaryius Thomas, WR, DEN Dez Bryant, WR, DAL
on the block, and not a single offer for any of them. I had Vick up after his 41 point game too, which was preceded by a 29 point game, and a 31 or something like that.

People just don't trade a lot in Fantasy football unless you're in a league with truly savvy players. For example I have Frank Gore, Matt Forte, Jahvid Best and Peyton Hillis in one of my leagues and I clearly don't need all 4. Can't get anyone to give up an elite receiver at all for Best or Hillis.
|
I offered Vick (after his second game, before the 41 point game), JStew, and Dez Bryant for Gore, and they denied me.

I just got a trade through. Not sure if I should be happy about it or not.
I gave up: Joe Flacco, Louis Murphy, Joe Addai I got: Arian Foster
My roster before the trade:
I really think I'm better off, particularly considering how streaky Flacco has played. While I like him, and I think he'll still have some good games, I just cannot find enough confidence to start him vs. good defenses (which he plays a lot, thanks to his conference), particularly with how Orton is playing. Murphy is my 4th best WR, and Addai is starting to get banged up (and he isn't that great to begin with from a fantasy stand point). I basically gave up a bag of crap for an elite RB.
Greg Jennings as my flex most weeks is something I'm pretty happy about.

Hell yea you got a steal. You didn't need Moore or Murphy. Getting rid of Addai for Foster is a serious bonus there.
And why are you starting Matt Ryan over Kyle Orton?

That's an excellent question. And absolutely got a steal, idk why anyone would question happiness on that trade.
Some doucher just offered me Henne for JStew straight up. Favre just got Moss, which ups his value, and JStew is coming off his best game of the season, while Henne is coming off his worst.
I offer fucking legit trades, and then people come at me with bullshit like that. Wtf?

I haven't decided for this week yet, but I like Ryan's match up way more. However, whenever I doubt Orton he goes for 20+, so I think I'll probably end up starting him this week.
