Jemele Hill and Scoop Jackson are twin vortices of shitty sports writing. Put Wojciechowski in there too. He doesn't race bait, but he also loves playing up controversies in sports he probably doesn't even watch.

I'm glad I don't know who these sports writers are. I'm not sure how they keep their jobs (i.e. I'm not sure why people still read their retarded opinions).

Jemele Hill is the token black douchebag that has a vagina. The worst of the worst. My god, I hate her.

Wow, maybe she's mad that her name is so similar to a guy's name.
Seriously, women shouldn't be in sports writing, unless it's volleyball, tennis, or softball. Admittedly, I'm a bit of a sexist (mostly a misogynist, though).

meh, i wouldnt say that. katie strang is the isles beat reporter and shes pretty good. you can have tits and know your shit. there's definitely others.
sideline reporters are a different story though. that's commonly a hot woman's job, and it's always fucking stupid shit that they 'report'
come to think of it, i just hate 98% of all sideline reporters in general, so that's kinda moot

"Coach Billicheck said the team just needs to execute better." Yeah, your job is pointless and annoying.
It's pretty rare for a female to know sports really well, in my experience. So well, in fact, that I think stereotyping is acceptable. But then again, most guys don't know wtf they're talking about either. They just say stupid shit. That's why there are so many Vick lovers out there.

jackie mcmullan holds her shit on around the horn, and has been writing about the nba for years, so it's not impossible

My dream ESPN headline?
MARIOTTI ARRESTED ON ASSAULT CHARGES TALKING HEAD ASSAULTS CO-WORKERS HILL, JACKSON, THEN TURNS FISTS ON SELF

Sally Jenkins (Washington Post) tends to be pretty insightful as well.

I'm a self loathing Patriots fan. Part of this is because I absolutely can not stand the spiteful shits in the Boston Sports media, the other part is that I can't stand the average Patriots/Red Sox fan that eats that shit up. Bunch of 2001 bandwagoners...
Basically in Boston you have Reiss for football and Gammons for baseball.

More realistically he'll probably just text them pictures of his dong like a proper ESPN pundit.

wow. Eagles doing better than expected Mike Vick with 6 touchdowns 0 interceptions and a NFL leading passer rating
but then again back to back games against scrubs can do that..
|
I hate the Patriots for a plethora of reasons. Partially because most of their fans are 2001 bandwagoners, as you put it. The other part is that the NE accent is the most disgusting accent on the planet, so I just dislike the area in general, which then applies to their sports teams. Plus people are huge douchebags up there... they think they're the shit BECAUSE they're from NY or something. They work for minimum wage, and live in their mom's basement, but being in NY makes them a fucking baller or something (based on my limited experience with NY folk, and NE people too I guess).

Why the fuck would you mention New York when talking about New England? Do you even realize what New England is composed of?

I can see how that was confusing... but I did differentiate in the parenthetical statement (I edited bolding for convenience). And it's because they're right next to one another.
Btw, I read your original post... not nice.

I like you. : D haha
Also, a general disliking for that area seems common from where I'm from (Chicago area, not properly in the city, though). There's definitely a "rivalry" between our cities.
After rereading that post, I guess that's pretty unfair the way I stated that. I shouldn't generalize an entire population based on the limited number of tourists, and gas station employees I've had conversations with (I work for a technical help desk for a major oil company... despite not knowing shit about computers, but I digress... and that's the same way racists think, and that's a bad way to think). There are a lot of douchebags in a lot of places (some may say that I'm one of those people).

Okay guys, help me. :D
Pick one:
Marques Colston vs. Carolina Hines Ward vs. Baltimore Mike Williams (SEA) at Rams Demaryius Thomas at Titans
Also, if Ray Rice happens to be sidelined. pick one:
Maroney at Titans McGahee at Steelers Michael Bush vs. Texans

I like Mike Williams from that group, and probably Bush if he goes.

The Seahawk's Mike Williams hasn't really been all that great. He's got an injured shoulder, and even though they're playing the Rams I think the upside for any of the other 3 is probably better than Williams at this point.
