![]() I always felt that the last boss from Sonic 2 was stupidly hard in relation to the rest of the game. For almost the whole game you comfortably breeze along, occasionally dying but with no real worries. Then suddenly you have to fight this bastard (and metal sonic before him), with no rings and no margin for error. Great thread...I'm really enjoying it, and it makes me want to get Final Fantasy Tactics. I played the one on the gameboy, and thought it sucked, but it sounds like the original is much better.

What game is that from, I know that is Gon. I didn't know there was a game with him in it, I used to read those comics when I was 6 and my brain is overflowing with nostalgia. I actually cannot contain my nostalgia, it like my brain is overflowing with happiness. ![]()

However, you can break Oblivion in a different way by enchanting equipment so you have a total of 100% chameleon. Chameleon is a modifier to the amount of light that your character is exposed to. Normally this only affects your sneak, but if you get it to 100% then you are completely invisible and nothing an target you. Unless you have mods/one of the DLCs, you can't do this until you are inducted into the Mage's Guild, so it's not as abusive as Morrowind where you can steal a good alchemy set from one of the towns right at the very beginning of the game. Actually you can do this without the Mage's guild at all. The stones that you get as a reward for closing Oblivion gates would let you enchant stuff, I got four 25% stones and enchanted various pieces of my armor with them and for the entire rest of the game I could kill anything, anywhere, with no danger to myself. The took levitation out of Oblivion because it was so powerful in Morrowind (constant enchants) but they apparently didn't remember how overpower chameleon was.

I couldn't find a good video of this bad boy. Imagine an unkillable ultralisk that killed everything it touches in one hit. That's what this thing did.

Anyways, there was Heedless One, who has power and toughness equal to the number of elves in play. Then there's Timberwatch Elves, which can tap to give +X/+X, where X is the number of elves in play. Also, Ambush Commander, who makes Forests you control become 1/1 Elf creatures that are still lands. I'm pretty sure that at one point I had a 200/200 with trample. All this, plus 4 Wellwishers, which tap and let you gain 1 life for each elf in play. So in addition to the 200/200 Heedless One, I also have over 1k life. Of course, all of this gets ripped apart vs actual tournament decks, but still.

With a Hero Sword, she could attack 40 times in on turn in a game where attacking twice is good..... ![]() Shanen can kill bosses in one hit. But I think Julia is more imbalanced but that is just to fight the final Boss.
