Set's are naturally going to beat each other out nothing is ever going to be perfectly balanced. The problem with some classes is that 1 set will buff a better set of skills over other sets or just provides a ridiculous damage buff compared to the others With enough CDR and Fist of the lion cube power you can get pretty far with an ancient 2hander. Sadly died to torment 9 Belial before I could get restraint/fist of az/flow of eternity. My mouse index is happy about the death though -_-
I sleep walk through 50s with the standard BP build with BP/spirit guards/FoE Cubed wearing Fist of Az and Lion's Claw. Just waiting on Ancient Pieces and a good Fist of Az before transitioning to the Convention of Elements build

one thing i dont get, since this is a blizzard game, is why do they not take the good things from each of their games into their other games. the spec/gear swap system in wow would be so good in diablo, given that at least a couple of classes per season has at least 2 viable builds

I've REALLY been aching for this this season, more than ever. Even just being able to have saved skill sets would be nice, but attaching a gear set to each skill set would be even more incredible. This is one I'm very surprised hasn't worked its way in yet

It'll be in one of the upcoming patches or next expansion if we get one. As the last couple of seasons have progressed the want for one has grown more and more along with the want for more storage space since the want for a higher bloodshard cap has been fixed. It'll happen eventually I mean look how long it took to get one in WoW. It'll happen but it'll be at Blizzards pace

i think it took forever in wow cause there were addons made for that kind of stuff, blizzard just decided to make it part of the game. if someone made an addon in d3 for it, i wouldn't be asking for one from blizzard either.

If they do do that, they need to change the Legendary gems from unique to unique equipped, so we can use the same gem in two spec without the hassle of changing it. We would need to level it twice, of course.

You can also get it from A4 Bounties but its a little rarer.

they could just reuse the whole cube mechanic. you get a gem, you cube it and just select 3 gems that you want to use with each character and you level them up like normal. then just make rings/necks roll with 3 attributes and remove sockets altogether. that would make for a far more simpler and easy system for people who play multiple characters.
