But nothing of that level that D3 is getting. Has something to do with the new generation of gamers though. They want new stuff unimportant of what it does or how much it costs.

My firedruid was hilarious, it was awful in theory but it did so much damage, especially with Hurricane. Diablo 3 could easily be that for me with a better pvp

Blizzard were happy because it was one of the easiest content additions they could have done. It seems like a pretty good engine, good classes, reasonable maps, but at the end of the day 99% of the game is just played on the rifts maps using a few builds. D2 felt like it had a lot more variety in every aspect. A lot of people were calling for random dungeons with unlimited difficulty and leader boards. I think GRs is a pretty neat idea in that light.

There's not just a wall of like Super Boss X, and once you beat that Boss, everything is just downhill from there. It's something that you always push for to see where you are as a player, granted theres RNG involved, but that's Diablo.

and which char would be good to hold off on because the good builds require the season specific item :D Does Barb need the seasonal item? It would be perfect for me to play now because i never played one and would have to level from scratch.

Not sure about DH, and I think barbs are getting very little? Correct me if I'm wrong. Crusaders and WDs look to be fun next season though, no idea about how good, but lots of changes if you're looking for something fresh after taking a few months off. The new WD sets suck though. Carnevil/pet spam builds are still going to be the best for solo/damage. The new sets are just super clunky and kinda mediocre. Wiz Archon set is going to be strong once you get all the pieces including specific legendaries for belt/helm/bracers. Barbs and DH's aren't getting anything because they got new sets last season, but the old Leap/EQ set for Barbs is supposedly going to get a rework for season 5. Saders are getting a new set that basically makes them Captain America and Thors illegitimate love child. Biggest change in the season isn't the new sets or Kanai's Cube, but the massive CC changes that are going to make things interesting for pushing Greater Rifts in groups since perma-CC will no longer be a thing. This season may be the most interesting one weve had with all the massive changes happening.
