Are there friendly people who will help powerlevel in HC, or is it still FFA since it's early in the season?

Leveling is just so mind numbingly boring, it's just a treadmill thats worse then the actual game where everything you get/do doesn't end up mattering. Edit: wooo round number of posts.

Note to others; Act 3 Tower Map, the spinning tower where you go to Heart of Sin and Cydea is NOT safe for PL. If you get an elite on the lower rung, it can spawn plague etc., on the upper level. Obviously a fluke kind of thing but sucks nonetheless. Hopefully by tomorrow Killer I'll be powerful enough to do T6 30-40m PLs. We need more Hardcore players in the guild so I don't mind PL!

So I started out with a barb instead of a monk, to try the new ww stuff, and while it's fun enough (no set yet, barely got to torment 1 on hc) I'm not sure. I played my old no-longer-seasonal monks for a few minutes and damn, were they fun. I have no idea why I didn't go straight for monk this season like I wanted to ![]()

a friend and I tried to powerlevel two other friends today. we did a 4man t1 rift with 2 70s, a 64, and a 41 with the latter standing by the door. what ended up happening was the 64 gained a level when we finished the first level of the map, but the 41 barely gained a third of a level in that same time. this is definitely much much slower than season 2 unless I'm remembering things completely wrong. so I think the solution to this is to tell your lowest level friend to make a t6 game. we tried to PL again, this time on a level 42 t6 rift, he shot up 8 levels after we finished the first level of the map - still not ideal but much better than what we were doing originally. before the patch I was able to go from 0-70 in 30-45 minutes depending on the mob density and rift layout on 2-3 t6 rifts. I'll definitely try again when I can solo two-man t6 rifts but as of now I definitely think there's a difference between PL in this season and the last.

Edit: Last season I had a WD geared with zunimassa, Dagger of Darts and Carnevil. Quite a fun char I must say.

The Crusader has an awesome look/style but seems quite slow compared to the Monk or the Barb, the Monk on the other hand looks fine. Fast-paced action with lots of cool animations. The Wizard seems like the most fun class to me but I'm concerned that this class will become quite boring once you hit a certain itemlvl. :-/ Edit: Last season I had a WD geared with zunimassa, Dagger of Darts and Carnevil. Firebird's was a pretty boring style but it's subpar to meteor builds now, which are quite fun.

You still cast a few joke spells to get big bang from your set passive. Now instead of casting fire blizzard to stack dot you cast frost blizzard and 3 other no dmg spells to call down 4 meteors that hit for billions. Same old, same old, though I guess you at least do more stuff than cast 1 spell and run away. I'm in the same boat with crusader as you, really like the visual style but gameplay not very much. Personally I'd recommend monk, very fast game play and great power, especially with the redesigned Raiment of Storms or w/e the name of that awesomely named set was. Plus you can get from New Tristram gate to Wortham Ferryman in under 3 seconds with that set! ![]()
