No idea about the other chars but I imagine Raekor barbs should be good at the trials as well.
What's the condemn spec for crusaders? How are wizards terrible at trials? I run arcane hydra, reduced cost blizzard, electrocute with the arcane power gaining rune, and meteor shower. I cover the screen in AoE the whole trial. Wizard is pretty easy mode for trials with the right build. Wizards suck at trials because their build shines vs elites, and is not very efficient vs white mobs, which is all trials are. Not to mention everything is so spread out in trials. Looking at your profile, you have 0 elemental dmg and 0 skill damage. Your spec is all over the place and although it might be fun it probably isn't even efficient for t5. Not quite sure how you can say trials are easy mode. Yes it might be easy mode for the first few waves but it is definitely hard when you get to wave 40 and higher. You're not even running the build that allows wizards to go past the lvl 35.
Why do you all get so stuck on you must use X build? I have a build that I have fun with, and it works great for me. The only reason I have issues in trials is due to the natural issues with lag living in an apartment complex.
If you were referring to my profile with the comments about elemental and skill damage, then you are clearly not looking at my items. I have meteor damage on boots, electrocute damage on source, meteor damage on helm. And the other bracers I use give 20% increased lightning damage. I have nearly 50% crit rate. Once I have the other piece of tal rasha's my actual dps will jump up significantly.

No one is saying you must use X build but when you say something like "trials are easy mode" when you're using a build that wont go past lvl 28 at best, it had to be brought up. Your issues in trials don't come from lag, they come from your build being inefficient. Yes it may be fun but what difficulty do you play on? How far have you gone in greater rifts? I can pretty confidently say that I doubt you went past lvl 26.
People have different interests with d3. Personally, I don't enjoy playing wonky builds that have terrible efficiency. I enjoy playing whatever is currently the meta and trying to climb the leaderboards, even though they are broken with pylons and such.

When people say "wizards are bad at trials" they mean higher levels, 35-40. If you're not aiming that high then do whatever you please. There are plenty of interesting builds that can perform well even into T6 these days, and that's awesome, but for GRifts 30+ the options become limited.

Witch Doctors still have several different Viable Builds.
I've got 3 different sets of gear that can go 30+. DaggerDoc, Jade, and MoJ pets.

I haven't pushed my wizard to its limits but level 23 is the highest key I've gotten from the trials. I can get a level 38 key with my dh. Granted, my dh is better geared but I'm pretty sure I can complete a level 30+ grift with my wizard. But so far, 23 is the highest key I've gotten. I pretty much gave up and decided to do the trials on my dh even if I'm going to be playing them with my wizard. It's just a matter of stopping earlier.
Not sure what kind of key you are getting with your spec.

Yep we couldn't get past getting a level 22 GR key, and then we proceeded to roflstomp the greater rifts. Trials are giving way to low keys

Is the chance for getting legendary gems from GRift bosses really high for the first dozen or so (GRift levels 15-25 range) and then really low after you already have a handful of them chilling in your stash? I was getting them like candy in my first few GRifts a couple weeks back and now I rarely see them. I'd really like the gold one, just to mess around with, but I haven't seen it or any new gems from my last 10-20 GRifts above lvl 20

there are only 13 leg gems and you get one each time you do a grift, the boon of the hoarder you get from greed[goblin vault]

not even sure what the point of the season is. there's too little season specifc content to make it worthwhile atm.

Starting again. Though it was very short, I really enjoyed playing again from scratch.

Just got RoS at long last. Wanted to try a Crusader, but felt dumb starting from scratch with a new Act waiting to be beaten (+adventure mode). Fortunately, Seasons let me pretend I don't have other characters, problem solved!
It's actually been really fun starting over. I'm doing Torment 1 and finding Haedrig to be invaluable. So far it's a good mix of finding and crafting gear IMO. Which is infinitely better than the Vanilla experience of finding gear for other classes and flipping it on the AH for something I can use (but I shouldn't complain, I paid for RoS with a IK chest my Monk found 2 years ago lol).

Does slow movement speed count for Bane of the Trapped?

I just today finally got a Vault and Boon of the Hoarder. Fun stuff. That single T6 Vault should keep me comfy on gold for a while haha.
I've been building up a firebird wiz for a while now because it's my preferred class, but I use my WD for (better) ease of T6 farming at the moment for some quick shards and what not. I got a 5th Jade piece this morning and I'm wondering if it's worth giving a shot over boring yet efficient pet build. I was looking forward to trying Jade build for a while but having an SMK seems like SUCH a huge buff to my current build that to make a full transition comfortable I'll need to find much more optimized Jade pieces...

jade is more efficient at higher greater rifts, smk pet builds are mostly used for support witch doctors atm.
