As a side question how exactly works the last wizard passive ? If I have +Fire on weapon and attack with arcane spells does that passive is equivalent to a flat 10% ? How do stacks work in case you use cooldown for other elements to raise your stacks, if you attack does it refresh the whole stack or each element has a separate timer ?
If I recall correctly they had announced two expansions initially but that was some time ago and I haven't heard anything mentioned since then.

It might be. I have 290k DPS and 7 mil toughness but haven't tried T2 yet.

I found the final fight immensely satisfying and the difficulty quite high on T1, with my 3million toughness, 150k sheet dps barb at level 69. (I have a 20% fire damage and am using HotA smash and frenzy maniac, which benefit from +fire). Took two hours and like 12-15 attempts, ditching marauder's rage for extra long shield wall in the kill attempt. All my passives were defensive; War Cry invigorate is extremely useful.

bit low on the dps department
i have almost 400k and T1 is still a bit annoying at times

So guys, any recomendations on this expansion ? I used to preorder every single blizzard game, but this is the first one i haven't bought. I watched some streams, and for me it seems, nothing really changed, and i see more changed and updates coming for PoE for example.

It's a diferent game, a lot was changed for the better. Hard to say if you will like it more than other ARPG's, that depends on how much you like the game.

I did play on last patch, and only adventures would be new for me, as a way of more entertaining farming, and act 5 of course. Maybe its something im missing, some new feel, or something )

Bounties and Rifts are the first step in having proper endgame. They're also adding ladders, and competitive "achievements/races" through 'greater' rifts.
Whether they stay true to their promises to deliver on all of this remains to be seen but given how drastically different this game is from the D3V launch, for the first time since pre-release, I'm actually hopefully for the Diablo Franchise.
This is coming from someone that ditched d3 within the first 6-7 weeks of release, cashed out and played hardcore PoE ever since.

Half of the expansion was actually the last patch, so it's no surprise it seems to lack content. They cant really do something that completelly changes the game without applying the same changes to vanilla.
Adventures, rifts, etc. are fun, but they are not game changers, if you don't like how the game feels without them it's not going to change your mind.

I'm in a similar place as crms. I hit 60, played inferno and hated it and quit. I played a bunch of PoE but I'm actually enjoying my time in RoS, even though I think leveling my crus is a waste of time atm..

So I'm currently facerolling over T2 at over 800K +51%main skill. The problem is while trying to get up in torments is interesting I'm really disatisfied with the kind of gear that is dropping. Not that it's bad or something but that with the limitation to 3 or 4 primary per item I quickly got most of what affixes I want on which piece of gear. And now its only a matter of rare spams for which I only take the exact same affixes (baring the mystic in mind) and therefore slowly upgrade the exact same stats, grabing 1% crit there, 50 int there etc.. everytime you get better rolls on 3 among 4 affixes you want (and then you just enchant the 4th). Not the most exciting character customization sadly.
Rifts and bounties are a fantastic idea but I feel the game still lack something to motivate you to progress in some scale or another. Paragon were a good idea but the bonus are really really dull and unimaginative. I'd just wish there was a paragon system which allows you to select perks that do cool stuff for example, get immune to a specific CC, be able to recruit 2 followers, things like that. I'd be interested in achieving that but the current paragon system, where I'll get 1% crit damage... meh.

I'd be interested in achieving that but the current paragon system, where I'll get 1% crit damage... meh. Kinda have to agree with this. Most of my gear(apart from weapon) has been enchanted to the point where it's going to take damn perfect rolls or legendary pieces to improve. My amulet has like +70 average damage, 600 int, 97CHD and 10CC. It'd be hard for legendaries to beat that, let alone rares, unless one comes around with the damage replaced with like 20% cold damage or something. And then there's my gloves, with perfect CC/AS, potential for perfect CHD(44 atm) and phys resist/int. Once again, pretty much ideal rolls.
I'm at about 900k sheet dps with buffs, 7m toughness, with frozen orb critting 5-8m and familiar critting for 3m. Sustained DPS is about 8-10m, burst DPS(basically spamming orbs til OOM) is probably near the 15-20m range.

Well I guess it depends, but yes once you get beyond the point of rares with the 4 ideal primary stats I am pretty sure you are basically hoping for the right legendaries/set pieces with godlike special affixes for your build while still having good primary stats (wtb lvl 70 cindercoat plz). I mean I am still using my lvl 60 Stone of Jordan with good rolls because nothing but an identical lvl 70 SoJ is remotely close to comparable.
I kind of like the gear curve you can get decent steady upgrades with rares and crafting for a little while at least before you are into the endless farming for that one item stage.
Can anyone 100% confirm whether the higher torments gear has a chance for better rolls? Or just better drop chance? I am also at the point where I can farm T2 rifts/etc solo with ease, or T3 with some carefulness and slower clear speed. The improved gold drop is actually noticeable and valuable ironically enough. (Unless you have boatloads of gold from auction house days. I started new account for ros) Goddamn gems are expensive even after you grind them all out. heh. Have 2 125%chd and getting them both up to next level appears fairly daunting.
Edit: Most infuriating grind so far was 8hours trying to get white quality hand crossbows to craft my hallowed crossbow. True fact legendaries have about 4 times the drop rate of white hand crossbows for me. lol. Thankfully due to the mystic the second one I made was workable with.

Regarding white drops + Show Spoiler +The area before Adria has lots of white drops. Don't know if that's what you after.
My Barb was really weak before RoS, like 40k dps. Now I have 240k dps and 4m toughness. Still having hard time at torment I though
|
Atreides, its 100% confirmed that you get a higher leg drop rate at higher torment if thats what your asking. However it's more efficient to farm at Torment 1 even if you can handle T2 and above as the clearing rate is faster.
As for better rolls, all rolls are pretty randomised except for the smart loot thing.

Can white mobs drop legendary items? It feels like I havent ever seen it happen in hours and hours. Only legendary items I have gotten are from packs or chests/corpses.

Has anyone tried to craft some of the new leg/set pieces? Collecting both plans and parts can take forever, and I have no clue if they will be a huge improvement over the rares that are cheaper to enchant.
Also any details on the new infernal machine/hellfire ring?
