The last line about ensuring you get something good for your class is something they actually had in Beta sorta. In Beta a lot of the mini quests (like Jar of Souls) actually gave you a piece of class specific loot (Diabo for monks, ect). They could just take this a step further and make diabos *not* roll Str / Int and now you know you got something that's got a good chance of being good for you. Class restricted items *already* have a lot of unique affixs on them related to skill damage / resources / ect. So they'd still be plenty random. I never understood why they changed the side events to give completely random loot when it was cool in Beta to *know* you were going to get something for your class. Although Beta was only to lvl 13 I think? So the feeling might have been quite different at lvl 60.

If you increase the quality of items, then for a short while more things are worth picking up, but as the market gets saturated you will run into the exact same problem as before, but just with newer and different items. There will be LESS items, but more good ones.

Sale price $0.00 Transaction fee $0.00 Applicable taxes $0.00 Your proceeds $0.00 For this past week I've been attempting to sell off my remaining gold. I've gotten 4 e-mails like this thus far, meanwhile my gold is still sitting on the AH. I've tried breaking it down to sell in smaller amounts, yet I'm still getting e-mails like this. Is this just Blizzard protecting me from some fraudulent purchase, or is there another reason altogether? Sorry if this was the wrong place to post this.

Overall, the balance in-game should still be correct once everything processes. I'm still waiting on a few PayPal ones to register, but haven't made any big sales recently so hoping the email spam stops soon! I used to get a warm fuzzy whenever I got a sold alert... But now it makes me sad. Edit: iPhone spelling fail.

I guess when I cancel the auction and re-post it is when I'm being sent these. But if it ever does sell I should still get a correct e-mail notification, right? Yep. Last RMAH auction I sold was on 3/3 and it sent an email notification. I also still getting spammed for unsold auctions as of 3/7. Not 100% sure, but commodities like gold can sell off in partial amounts, so if you list 100m and 20m sells, you get a sale for the 20, but get 80 back in two transaction #s. People still buy stupid things on the RMAH so don't worry about dumb folks spending frivolously. Exhibit A: ![]()

Would hardly call it "spending frivolously" :D Was more the fact that someone spent 400x more on something because they were too lazy to click twice. Sure $1 is nothing to some folks, and it certainly doesn't make me rich but I sold enough patterns to stupid folks (~75 patterns since patch) to buy a Double Cheeseburger or two. Sadly it seems like the dumb folks are pretty much done buying patterns until next patch. I suspect these are the folks with Marquise Gems in all their sockets, 5,000 elite kills, and post "I joined the 300k dps club!" On the official forums.

Oh nice! So I can feel good about having dumped those billions off @ 0.18 (0.25 excluding blizz+paypal fee) about 1 month ago, given that it's now valued at 0.07 on third party sites. Hehe, glad I wasn't completely "doing it wrong" after all
