I just started again D3 after nearly a year. Just finally finished inferno, so where do I go to farm now? I think I can farm mp1 fine. Does stuff from mp1 can actually sell on AH or just vendor worthy?
Just got back to D3 myself. The game is way better than when I left it. Threw together a WW barb on the cheap and have been upgrading and slowly cranking up the mp level. Looks like mp gives bonuses according to http://www.diablowiki.net/Monster_Power so it doesn't really matter where you farm, but I think most people farm act3.

you find the same items on mp1 as mp10 just less of them a3/a4 mp0 is also the same just farm a3 at the highest mp you can do efficiently

you find the same items on mp1 as mp10 just less of them a3/a4 mp0 is also the same just farm a3 at the highest mp you can do efficiently
Thanks! I am doing act 3 MP2-3 solo atm. I like the game as it is now, but the urge to farm is not that high. I mean, what the point of getting better gears? The AH is flood with overpriced items which I think alot of them come from bots .
Hope they can dish out an expansion soon to fix D3, the lack of map randomness is really hurting this game. Farming a small linear ACT3 gets bore too fast .

I see them stealing a number of ideas from PoE and incorporating them into an expo, like map randomness and item modification through crafting. I call it stealing but I'll still be happy if they do. I leveled to about ~50 in PoE and still couldn't get into it, and although I was impressed with a lot of the ideas the overall gameplay just wasn't there for me.
They are supposedly going to up the monster density in Act 1/2/4 next patch so Act 3 won't be the only decent place to farm. I haven't played much recently, but from what I can tell, Act 3 mp0 is still the best for paragon xp and cheapest to farm, vota mp0/1 in act 2 the best for farming demonic essences, and if you have the dps/ehp for MP10, cota in Act 1 is supposedly a quick place to farm for drops.
you can get around 180m xp/hr running mp10 cota, keeps 2, or crater 2 over and over. i was getting about 160m/hr just killing scorpions in crater 2 with my barb and he isn't even that well geared

I'm also really interested to know.
paper dps is 123k unbuffed with hf/leorics, which is what i use during these runs
222k with rage/wotb/overpower up which is permanently on. also keep in mind that i get +14% to demons (aka scorpions) from the tyraels and +30% from brawler. i feel like the key thing in these runs is to have killing spree. there's so many scorpions that the cd comes off instantly most of the time
Good lord, when did pickup radius become such an expensive stat? I stopped playing in October and just started playing again 3 weeks ago. I heard having one item with it is pretty good so I thought to upgrade my weakest items with it. Comparable upgrades to my bracers were roughly <50k without the stat and around 1M with it.
In the last day or two, I have since sold some junk belts with pickup radius for 500K-1M. Who knows how many I have vendored in the last few weeks.
Since bots took over bnet. Just wait until you find something with pickup raidus AND gold find. Have sold belts and pants with essentially just gold find, pickup and decent dex roll (no vit, AR, armour, nothing...) for several Ms.
so.....goldfind+pick up radius are worth millions now? Guess I should cash in my demon hunters gold find gear then....make some bucko bucks since everything worthwhile on her is worth cash.
