I'm wondering how d3's garbagefactor has changed since then and if i should give the game another try or wait more? 1.05 should have been where d3 started (at a minimum). It's fun to drop in for an hour or two of click and hack.
In other words, it´s about where it "should have been" by release atm? Then i'll wait a bit longer.

What would you guys recommend as a first character that will also be an item farmer, or it doesn't matter?

Barb, no reason to play any other class when starting out really. Ppl play other classes because they invested so much time into their paragon lvls, but a lot have already rerolled to barb with a lot more wishing they did.

I would recommend barb as well. Been playing DH, recently rolled barb. Barbs just feel so much stronger.

Would someone actually be up to lend me 10 Radiant Star Rubies once I start getting socketed items? ^^

You most likely won't get any takers, considering 10 Radiant Stars are worth >170M gold right now. You can easily make do with plain Stars in your weapon and helm and Flawless Squares in the other slots while leveling. You'll still level quite quickly.

is any1 now still selling items through RMAH and actually earning some amounts? I havent sell anyting through RMAH and may start one if theres still hardcore players buying stuff.
|
I gave up RMAH a few weeks back due to low prices and because stuff was selling just to slowly. ATM i am noticing only high end dmg stuff still sells and low end gear.

The ubers do drop regular stuff also. It seems they drop legendaries at a higher rate, but I don't think that has been stated for example if mobs have a .002% chance to drop a legendary ubers might have a .004% drop rate. Like I said I don't know if anything officially has been stated that way, but it seems ppl get a lot of legendaries off of ubers.
The alkaizer route is mainly for xp farming, but while farming xp there is always the chance at items. Many ppl add in their own couple of spots to the alkaizer route. For example, instead of going from keeps depths 1 straight to 2 to clear lvl 2, I start at keeps depths 3 and work my way back to 2 because lvl 3 is very small and usually has 2-3 elites.

Best for items imo is full a3 clear mp0. Start siegebreaker q, keeps 1-3, tp Bridge of korsik then run all the way to azmo. Add stonefort if you Like.

A bit more on topic, what would be the minimal required gold to equip a barb to have no problems in mp1 a3 ww farming?
|
Not more than 3~ million IMO. You can buy a lot minimum roll items and get the occaisional self found item. You won't be at complete effectiveness (keeping up Wrath 100%), and sometimes bad affix combos can put you in a bit of trouble or randomly instagib you. But you will be able to do it.

Quick question; I just cracked a sage's plight recipie; is it better to sell or to try crafting? Just curious as I saw some high end rolls selling for very high but I rarely see people wearing sage's gear.
Also gratz woozy!

i'd probably sell it. boots/helm is pretty much guaranteed to be taken up by a better set/legendary (nat's, inna's, ice climbers, mempos, etc.) and you'd have to get an absurdly good roll on gloves for it to sell because the glove market is (and always has been) oversaturated

Wasn't the amount of xp required for paragon 100 so high, that even with perfect gear you'd need 6months of playing for 12hours a day?

People underestimated how much exp you could get. It only takes ~200-250 hours of dedicated grinding to do it.
