I didn't want to buy anything anyway, but I guess you all should get a heads up. Make sure you actually leave the game properly instead of ALT-F4 or crashing (not like you can prevent that). My gold disappeared in between ALT-F4'ing and crashing just hours ago. Authenticator is a massive joke. The current technique to steal items/gold completely bypasses it.
Really? I know you can change the password without the security question on the account, but didn't know the authenticator could get bypassed. Blizzard's security really is a joke right now. A lot of good laying off those 150 people did them...

Not sure if people are ignoring the fact that Blizzard said that everyone that got hacked wasn't using an authenticator till after the incident happened or are simple calling Blizzard liars.

People still saying they got hacked with authenticators after blizzard did damage control and that would be a lot of liars.

Me and my bud cleared diablo on nightmare today, kinda undergeared and leveled. We were so pumped when we beat him that we immediately went to new game. TO play on HELL. and then we saved cain, and finally one of us questioned if this was actually hell. It was not. Apparently hell requires level 50.
Fuck you too Blizzard.

I had the same question, when after I beat Diablo. 2 level 31s joined my game and im like dam these people are good to be in hell and then I inspected their gear which prompted me to believe that I was not in hell, thankfully i was only 3 bars away from hitting level 50

Fuck you too Blizzard. Go level up. Blizzard is saving your ass. If you are undergeared and under level your ass will be kicked at hell anyway.

Just started playing recently and enjoying the game so far. Only question is how can I tell when dual weilding weapons is better than using a two handed weapon? Do you average the strength of the two weapons (ignoring bonus stats)
14 1h + 16 1h = 15 2h weapon?

zzz, how come when izual says "the cold hand of death reaches out for you" and does his super freeze thing, half the time he does it at the start of dialogue and the other half at the end -.-
makes dodging it with smoke a real bitch

I am confused on how the RMAH will work and why people will keep playing, it seems that some people have already found the top items (1300 dps weapons) etc so with the AH I give them another say 2 months of farming before they have the best of every slot then what is the point?
Blizzard seems to want longevity like diablo 2 but does D3 have it in items or am I not understanding items properly, can anyone ever have the absolute best? are there rare items that are super duper rare or has the AH diluted the rarity to much?
|
No one will sell a perfect on RMAH since the cap is only $250.. -.-
|
someone would pay over 250$ for a single item?

Are they rare enough though? like some of the items some streamers already have (1300 dps xbow, 3 set items etc) these are the things you would think would rarely ever be seen yet they are more common than you would think. Are there significantly better items than these still out there or are people going to be paying for like a 10 stat upgrade.

I don't think you know how the item system works... this isn't like WoW where the piece of gear everyone has is identical in stats. Items in D3 has stat ranges and random properties, it's extremely rare to roll perfect and I highly doubt anybody even has a perfect right now...

Blizzard is usually pretty transperent on fixes and patches, they're also usually quick about it. Pretty fucking bad about it on D3 though. No ETA on AH fix, especially with commodity buying. Random ninja patches, then remove patches, then reinstate them a few hours later, and then announce it. Seriously, what the fuck blizzard?
Anyone else find it funny, that even post-nerf DH and Wizard, still clearing through inferno easily enough. But Barb, Monk, WD get short stick.
I've never been disappointed by Blizzard, but this is definitely a first. I rather of waited another year before D3 release, and was a better polished product. TBH it feels like a beta that's gone terribly wrong.

Already seen a few go for over $250 on 3rd party sites, some of the first 1.2k-1.3k weps before people realize that they weren't as rare as they seemed. Now it's mostly near perfect rolled (dex/str/int)/vit/single resist/all resist items collecting the good money.

There have not been any patches as of yet. There have been hotfixes, but the first patch has yet to be released. Can count on the patch including all the changes in additional to various other things.
