Saw a video of necromancer and looked pretty boring. Just standing around while minions do their thing. Nah, just new so everyone will want to try it out. Like above said. I played them on the PTR/Beta and didn't really love it, it's not so radically different. But I'm sure they've made lots of changes since then so who knows. I won't be buying it very soon myself.
If there are classes you haven't played much yet I would probably recommend rolling those for a new season instead of shelling out the $15.

necro was fun. but i got into the beta so had my fill. if i didnt do the beta, i would shell out the $15. definitely worth it.

How's Crusader looking for solo play this upcoming season? Need something to play for about 2 weeks and I haven't played D3 in a long time.

Have too much blizz money from WoW gold anyway so I will get necro.
I am more thinking about the free set from season. Somehow I never got anything done on my non-season characters. I just dont know how to start to get going, it seems to take forever to get to a decent level. Never had any set etc. Did not play too much before I got bored though.
In contrast with the one season monk I played I was doing 60+ rifts pretty quickly because the season set gave me a boost and other stuff came after that quickly.
Only now I realized that all my stuff on that one good character disappeared because that season ended and then they delete your shit apparently. Only things I kept was what I was wearing, and unfortunately that is equip for quick farming / running at low levels and not the best stuff. Pretty frustrating.

Your season stash gets mailed to you when the season ends. However you only have 30 days to open this mail from the first day you log in after season ends. I assume thats where it went wrong for you.
As for how to get started on your characters. If you played near launch the drop chance for sets/legendaries was many times lower. Run some rifts at whatever level your comfortable on and you should quickly see items which help you up the difficulty which gets you more item ect.

I was going to start Crusader this season since I haven't played one since one of the first couple seasons and apparently Hammerdin is still really good. But DH also get UE as their free set which feels hard to pass up for early farming. And apparently grenades is the new way to go with UE? Not multishot? Which would be something new since the last time I played one I guess. Or is that only for high GR, and multishot still best for speedfarm...
Every season I'm convinced I'm not going to play, then decide to play, then have character crisis lol
Edit: sounds like grenades is harder to gear for and MS is probably better for speedrifting anyway. Bleh. I'm way too burned out on UE MS DH...

if anyone want, will do 1-70 tomorrow starting around 6pm Est

never fully got into ARPGs till this season, does it matter what build I go for until endgame?
playing a wizard for now, mainly hold RMB for convergence disintegrate fun

playing a wizard for now, mainly hold RMB for convergence disintegrate fun Not at all in D3 unlike POE. You can and will switch up builds all the time. You are only limited by your equip which will be suited to different skills.
As a fellow D3 noob I can recommend looking up class / build guides. It helps a lot. Especially once you reach 70.

Once your 70 and progressing in torment/rifts you will start to run into walls where your not doing enough damage or dying to fast. That's when you can look up other builds/equipment to see where you can improve.
You can freely switch around skills so feel free to experiment and play what you enjoy.

I think I'll roll a Witch Doctor for some chill afk pet farming this season, at least until I get the Jade set or manage to get enough Ancients for the LoN spirit barrage build. It's a shame there is no viable full Sacrifice endgame build tho, that skill is fun (at least I don't think there is one...). I was thinking about a DH but I'm feeling like some voodoo action right now.

ill probably play necromancer like 95% of the population lol

I'm so tempted to play something this season, but I'm not sure I want to pay for the Necro. I also have too much RNGstone, Overwatch, and some HotS to play... Thx Blizz.
/e Is it just coincidence that content drops for all Blizz IP's at almost the same time? New hero in Overwatch, new xpac in Hearthstone, new season (and class) in D3, HotS seems to have rolling hero releases at this point...

Overwatch and HotS especially, as their hero and event schedule has been fairly timely.
Hearthstone and D3, (paid) content releases like to be scheduled for peak sale times, and Summer/Winter generally fall into that.

the issue with me picking up D3 is that the greater rifts are effectively WoW's mythic plus system, which I fucking loved, and now I can grind them as much as I want with or without a group
I know that m+ was taken from greater rifts, but you get the comparison I'm making
also wizards are a nice starter class

I can definitly recommend to try the UE grenades build, was honestly one if not the most fun build i ever played out of all classes. And it got me to i think GR 92 or something 2 seasons ago.
