How do u actually do dmg with nats strafe build? Runningf 6 nats + 2 sage so no focus rings to farm DB's and god damn, feels like i do 0 dmg. Also run out of hatred faiorly often.

Rain of vengeance belt, taeguk and calamity add a ton of damage to nats damage. Also timing your focus fires invetween ticks of strafe to keep reassure high helps a lot.
Rolled a witch doctor to take a break from the monk for a bit trying to hell tooth or zunis and have gotten almost a full set of aracnyr. That set is something awful

Dunno if I would run Taeguk on a DB-farm build. It's really annoying to have to loot anything with Taeguk as it can fall off while looting. Not sure if the efficiency is worth the aggravation.
Also, the rain of vengeance belt does a lot of the damage on that build against champions and elites. That thing can be difficult to aim. There are plenty of times where it misses and I really don't know why.

Crashing Rain/RoV is the entire damage of Nats.

You don't actually kill non-elites, you ignore them mostly unless you absolutely have to, you spin towards elites with speed and 1-2shot them with RoV, pick up DB and move on.

It's not that you don't kill non-elites it's that they just kinda due to strafe/rov while you focus the elites. Nat's is a weird build. You just kinda act like the energizer bunny and just keep going. As long as you stop just for DBs and Legendary/Set items you really shouldn't have any problems keeping Taeguk stacked at all times. Nat's is probably the best set to do so outside of WW barbs and the now obsolete 4SW/4Innas monks.

I have swapped pieces around for the 6 set nat bonus, clearing speed is pretty good, however I cant really ignore white mobs else I get wrecked. Especially by ghosts, winged assassins (fuckers), and exorcists. Am already having trouble staying alive at GR35.
I guess to make strafe between RoV viable you need a lot of CDR? Currently I have to spam evasive fire with the 25% armor rune to deal with the damage and keep the CD on RoV low. I must be doing something wrong...

Ignoring whites is mostly for DB and speedfarming. Higher Grifts you'll need to blow up white mobs, but you should be killing them in one shot.
The last season's bracers will help with toughness, and you should also be spamming Smoke Screen.

Sage's set don't actually double the amount of DBs as you can read here. It adds one to whatever amount dropped.
It's a huge difference, if it was doubling it, it would be OP on Mats gobelins who often drop 10+ DBs or in T6+ when you sometimes get 2 DBs per mob.

That's why T8 is pretty ideal for DB farming.

I guess the killing speed makes T8 more effecient than T9 and TX. I dont think any class can actually speedfarm TX but could be wrong.
The natalya set runs with the cooldown ring i think.

Ive been running/gearing a Nats DH the last couple of days. Nonset pieces I'm running are the act 1 bounty shoulders with the cheat death passive, F/R for rings, hellfire ammy with Ballistics, trying for the knockback damage wrists, and finally the RoV belt. Ive seen a lot of people running baked ire caster as their offhand weapon but i found a decent ancient Valla's and finding I'm clearing far faster with it than I was with Balefire. The uptime for RoV is insane.

I'm pretty sure every class can speedfarm t10 with reasonable gear although it certainly actually requires me to pay more attention on dh than on barb or monk.

Yesterday, did the Conquest where you have to kill all bosses in 30min in T10, in hardcore...
Seriously, I almost died of a heart attack during the Malthael fight... Basically, we have OK gear (he plays Barb, can clear 52-53, I play WD, can clear 49), we were just looking for a Conquest to do, started this one, went well, had almost 5 minutes left just before Malthael feeling good and all. 2/3 of the fight, both cheat death procced, I was already seeing myself leveling another char :D
Anyway, rank, 452 leaderboard \o/
