* Frost Shot no longer stacks with Volley
* Volley now fires 7 missiles instead of 9
* Volley bonus damage increased to 40/55/70/85/100 from 40/50/60/70/80
* Accumulate Wealth is now 'Hawkshot'. Hawkshot retains the passive gold gain on kill and can now be activated to shoot an invulnerable, untargetable scouting hawk toward a target location. The hawk will reveal terrain as it travels, and grant vision of the end area for 5 seconds
* Enchanted Crystal Arrow
o Fixed a bug where it was slowing for too long at ranks 2 and 3
o Fixed a bug where it was stunning for more than the maximum stun duration
o Increased the distance required to get a maximum duration stun


The slow amount just makes it so getting away with fast Bounty won't work anymore, otherwise it's negligible at higher levels IMO. Volley damage hike offsets the 9 arrows maybe (not sure), definitely makes laning against Ashe easier. I'm pretty sure the slow stacking just means you can't double slow anymore by hitting them once then immediately Volleying. Hawk is going to be deceptively useful depending on CD, and I'm thoroughly amused that they cannot get ECA's stun duration to work properly.

To be honest I think they're nerfing him pretty hard with this. Attack speed > that puny attack damage, and the lower damage from Barrage makes it much weaker IMO. Increasing radius means jack because it just means it's going to miss more. Learn2math Riot.

For a moment I thought this was Blizzard, a rework in the name of buffing yet it actually nerfs. Let's see, first his passive goes from an AoE AP steal (nasty) to a free Chalice, except most Veigar don't really have mana issues. The range buff on Horizon and the speed on Meteor is great, but the latter is like 6 months late because of Merc Treads. In return, they nerf Baleful (scaling? really? how often are you going to actually kill someone with meteor, because you usually, you know, OPEN WITH METEOR). And then they totally destroy Primordial so that it does less damage than before! Now, instead of getting an extra 250 damage when they have 1000 mana (pretty easy) you get like a whole 160 if both of you have 100 AP! Except the snazzy part about him was that you used to be able to pick off people like Ezreal and Ashe and Corki! Now you get a whole whopping 0 damage from them. Are you seriously.

I think the increase in area of gankplank's cannonballs are pretty significant... you need to get hit by one of them to increase the chance of getting hit by a second one. The radius is 20% bigger so the area increase is bigger than that.

As someone who has an average of a whooping 60AP on soraka by the time game ends (all from elixir of brilliance ), the ap ratio nerf doesn't bug me TOO much.

Cutting down the base heal by such a huge amount hurts, and coupled with the Locket brutalization I think she's gonna have some problems.

To think when I started this game the AP ratio on wish was 2, and its cooldown at level 16 was 60 seconds...

...why did I stop playing soraka again?

Back then TF had Gate as a regular skill, Sivir's Ricochet hit you from across a lane, Jax was mediocre and Spray and Pray was OP.

And is it just me or is a level 5 heartseeker strike going to be barely weaker than with the bug? 40% x 2 vs champ = 80% damage scaling per hit.

With bug it was 100% damage scaling per hit.

no, with the bug it was 100% scaling on bonus damage/hit and 60% scaling on your base damage/hit

if you have more base AD than bonus AD, you'll hit harder with HSS now, if you have equal base AD and bonus AD you'll hit equally hard with it and if you're bonus damage is higher, you'll hit weaker.

again, net effect is pretty much nothing other than the fact that janna pantheon won't be able to burst you for 1K at level 3

Situations where Veigar's damage became 'untankable' were pretty rare, as far as I know. Without his ult, his damage just felt lackluster to me, because his Dark Matter couldn't hit champions for toffee. With the landing time reduced to 1,2 seconds Veigar may actually hit a stunned champion with Dark Matter, which was what he sorely needed. When his ult wasn't up, Veigar could only dish out Baleful strikes, and stun people a bit with his Event Horizon. But Annie stuns more often, and has a reliable AoE, and Tibbers deals damage after casting. Not to mention an energized Tibbers can stun and damge multiple enemies, which can then be followed by an incinerate.

And as far as I understand it, Baleful strike still gets 1 AP for every kill. You now also get 1/2/3/4/5 AP for a champion kill, regardless of you the kill is made. So finishing blows with Primordial Burst actually grant more AP now.

What the hell, they buffed her, how can you even begin to think she got unplayable all of a sudden?

My first impression is that it's a nerf, for the following reason:

- The control from Volley's snare is an important part of Ashe's contribution to her team, especially before she can buy damage items; she won't be able to help her team make a clean getaway anymore, which is one of the bigger factors why I'd prefer her over Tristana.

- This leads me to think that Hawkshot will not only reveal parts of the map to Ashe, but will also reveal Ashe to the enemy team; Hawkshot will travel in a straight line, so you just have to see where the hawk is and which direction it's going to put 2 and 2 together and tell where Ashe is.

- ECA got nerfed slightly.

All this put together adds up to 'nerf' to me in paper. I'll have to see whether Hawkshot is any good in-game though.

Hawkshot just sounds like a massive waste of mana for ashe half the time, to be honest. Wards >.>? I can see how it's going to be useful, but map awareness is always best when the enemy team doesn't know that YOU know where they are.

Pretty sure the radius that's being increased is the splash damage radius of each individual cannonball, so it should actually hit more often.
