I got my other one at home, so I just got one at work, I think. I'll try out my third e-mail addy at school... and that's about it. Pain in the arse to make e-mail addies, I just had these from the start, heh.

Me and my roommate once 2v5'd a team on our smurfs with him as sunfire fiddles and me as pure sunfire Mordekaiser. And I say 2v5 because we had 2 disconnects and one DPS Zilean hahah. Actually that DPS Zil kind of won the game because even though he went something like 3/15 he didn't stop pushing top and eventually got an inhibitor while we defended bot and mid LOL.

Lol. Offensive Zil? His offensive moves are so worthless during lategame. He's a great offensive character early on with his bomb.

So far I'm loving Sona. Even as a support character she's helping me win games since her heal is so spammy I can cover for the dumb stuff people do sometimes.
Right now I'm going Teleport/Flash, I find Teleport is very useful for support and Flash is needed sometimes to get away or score a kill.
I'm sure it's not optimal but I'm going for a quick Tear because Sona can max it out pretty quickly, even with a Tear and mana regen runes I can still run out of mana pretty quickly spamming things to keep up auras. After Tear and Boots 1 I like to get Boots 3 which I think helps a lot for support as well, it also makes it very difficult for you to be chased down while spamming E/W.
After Tears/Boots 3 I go for a Soul Stealer since Sona get's so many assists it fills up incredibly fast. With an SS her spam heals become quite powerful.
After that I turn the Tears into an Archangel's, I'm not sure about this move. The added mana/AP do help. It might be hard to believe but I can still run out of mana in prolonged fights which Sona tends to bring about with all the healing.
Anyone have some other suggestions? I think some CDR somewhere might be nice but her cooldowns are so low already they don't add too much.
I've also started leveling E (the movespeed one) a little earlier now instead of Q (the nuke ap/damage+). I find the movespeed increase to be more important for supporting compared to damage. Most of the time I max W first.
Oh, I'm also only in unranked stuff so far so perhaps everything I'm doing is incredibly wrong and still manages to work anyway.

instead of turning tear into AA, try a RoA first. You won't be getting your money's worth out of AA until 3233 mana anyway

I'm not sure if people saw this but,
- Blue team on summoner's rift ONLY is considered as having an advantage, and will tend to be the weaker of the two teams now to even things out. This advantage is being rated at about 25 elo points. We reached this conclusion by using various statistical techniques on a very large set of games.
I always knew blue had a slight advantage in terms of the map, but now you know which side is the crap side to be on in terms of team elo.

My connection is rather gay at the moment (400ms ping, some lagspikes from time to time) towards lol.
Which char plays fine under those conditions? I loved kassa so far but he is just godhorribleawefull when lag gets an issue. Riftwalk OH COOL IT LAGGED IM DEAD. Suggestions, please. Preferebly not that expensive in terms of IP, but feel free to suggest more expensive ones, too.
Gameplaywise I loved vlad/kassa/MF so far and I hated ashe/blitz, if that helps.

My thoughts on the blue vs purple issue
Blue has a lane creep positioning advantage which makes blue win if there are no heroes interefering.
In terms of lane advantages with creeps, blue has an easier time laning bot, and harder time laning top. Opposite for purple.
Purple has better mobility around dragon regarding the fact that they have a better escape route, and they do not need to loop around to enter dragon's little circle, which means purple gets there faster. Purple also has a baron advantage. Since baron is near the wall, purple can easily clairvoyance, or against not as great teams, get a ward on baron, and ks. Purple can also keep their ranged outside of the small circle, and get them to safely attack from the back. Purple also has no escape for their melee if ganked, because their escape route's been cut off by blue. Blue has to kill baron inside that small circle, with their whole team. If they get ganked while doing baron, they just lost their escape route, and their carries are going to have bad positioning, but they have the better escape route, because they can just back out. Purple can't because their base is on the opposite side. Blue has a positioning advantage with baron because they can get there faster, while purple has to loop around.
