The reason to not get clairvoyance isn't because you have hawkshot, it's because you are a carry with no positioning skill so you need 2 escape summoners to survive a teamfight while outputting enough dmg. You will NOT survive a garen/udyr/kassadin/akali/shaco/ or any other champ that will easily run you over just by using his ghost.
I'm pretty sure I said that in my second post.

Please don't give out advice if you're not very good At least be lvl 30 T_T edit: Like the guy above me, please don't listen to his flash/clairvoyance Ashe build that he posted earlier. If you can point out a flaw with Flash and Clairvoyance on Ashe when she's filling the role of pseudo-carry/DPS support please do so. Until then don't say I'm wrong. Ashe is a flexible hero where every build is reliant on team composition and match-up. Ashes used to get clair but now she has hawkshot. It seems redundant and waste of a summoner spell. This is exactly what I''m talking about, ashes NEVER got clairvoyance. Jazriel, I'll tell you why it's bad tommorow unless some other good player explains it. It's hard for me to type on my iPod. I'm glad you read so much into things. Pre-season 1 I've seen a lot of Ashe go ghost+cleanse. (Pre cleanse nerf) However, I said Ashes used to get clair. I didn't say always, I didn't say mostly. I was responding to what was relevant. It happened. Maybe you never saw an Ashe with clair, but I have seen a handful. As you probably know, being a top ELO player, Ashe is the most played champion pre-season 1. Statistically she boasts around 5% usage. I'm sure there is a portion of that which attributes from people who just came from the tutorial and wanted to try Ashe, but how many of you actually mained Ashe first because she was in the tutorial? Not anybody I know of. My point is there was variety. There have been good Ashe with ghost+cleanse, and there have been bad Ashe with ghost+cleanse. Likewise with clair. If you didn't see any good Ashe with clair, you didn't play enough. So obviously you aren't talking about ALL Ashes. Maybe you have this preconceived notion that all Ashes who had clair were bad. And, additionally, you want to criticize me for saying something that is true, indirectly call me a bad player without knowing anything about me, then tell someone you'll explain something that is seemingly simple tomorrow incase no one that you deem a "good player" answers it. If you need a "good player" to explain something so simple, why ghost/flash is the optimal decision for most carries now, and why someone who basically has a built in clair to not get clair, then I guess we are all pretty much great players here. Hopefully you'll make a new rendition of what a good player is because I met the qualification for the last one, but clearly I don't meet the qualification to speak about Ashe and clair. Excited to see an update so everyone here can conform so we don't look too dumb on this thread! Would hate to upset you. I give up. I was just trying to help and then Jazriel gets banned and you get mad. Not cool guys. Yeah I'm sorry. Next time someone insults me I'll just keep my mouth shut. If you don't want people to get mad maybe you can try to not treat them like shit. I agree with keeping mouth shut when somone insults you (or taking it to PM), but I also agree with Hazmat being on a higher tier of advice-giving than almost everyone in this thread. The reason he posts the way he does is every other page someone who's "mid-high Elo" makes horrible advice because it works at their Elo so they think it works always. I'm not saying anything about you or Jazriel heck, i didn't even read either of your posts. Just trying to show a different point of view. Whenever I give overarching advice that isn't just copy/pasted from someone I know is good I try to remember to disclaimer it that I'm ~1200 Elo so people that want to do better will not take it as bible for a character they haven't played yet.
Woa woa woa.
I think my advice is clearly S-Tier over Hazmat's
Jungle Teemo counters yi. Simple as that

Honestly from my perspective it's really difficult to give precise advice; I think the only thing you do is give your perspective and defend it. An example is the Kassadin debate a while ago regarding my personal disenchantment due to the re-rise of ranged DPS, yet everyone argued that it shouldn't be the case. Likewise some high-elo players (Spud) argued Kassadin blows in a solo lane, yet I consider myself high-elo and I've basically never lost a solo lane excepting for circumstances out of my control (Nid coming level 1 red buff, or me simply being a worse player). redtooth even says Nid>Kass despite that being preposterous to me from my experience, and so on and so forth. It's not like any of us are necessarily wrong, that's just how we've come to see a specific subject. And it'd be really hard for anyone to say "one is better than the other, so listen to them" in such a context. It was certainly amusing on a personal note when some people seemed to insinuate I had no idea what I was doing with Kass to be dying to ranged DPS as the game went on, but that's okay.

yo Phrost, Shake has like 40 elo on you AND 40 ELO IS ENOUGH TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Shut up 800 elo scrub. Get on my lvl.

Q_Q i can't yet... i can't start rising from the ashes until i've hit rock bottom. another 10 leaves should do...

As of right now hes 1660 and I'm 1642.
And I have more games played as Sunfire Eve, so I win =p

it's somewhat likely that you'll get banned for leaving so much

and apparently matchmaking thinks we're a matchmade in heaven (solo queued onto the same team)

it's 100% unlikely, as i'm leaving during champ select, and no one else is losing elo for me dodging

You ain't ever gonna pass me phrost. You're going down with me,

Yeah be careful about getting leaver marks, it's safer to lose by running pants on head retarded builds and doing just poorly enough that your team will want to surrender at 25

Listen, I think you should know, I'll never let you down, I'll never run around or desert you. I'll never say good bye, never gonna make you cry, etc etc

but that's a waste of time to me... when i do drop in for games, i play my hardest, dominate, try to give my team enough of an advantage that they can't lose, then leave so they can win without me winning
better to just dodge for elo loss and play my hardest when i AM in game

It looks like it's IP-based.
Edit: Holy crap, I wasn't trying to pun _-_;;
I mean it's based on IP-addies, I think.

so Riot didn't like people getting 200 games worth of boosts, huh

wow my programming homework was a lot easier than i thought... i think i'm gonna stream a game or two before i move onto my drilling lab :s
www.livestream.com/gtrsrs
i just queue dodged to get to 780 so maybe this new level of low will have even worse baddies. i'm gonna throw my stream on right now, if someone wants to tell me how the sound/quality is i'd be grateful. i'm not gonna use my mic at all though because that seems to make the sound awful. so yeah
also i'll take any requests for champs/builds (that i have. i don't have trynd. is he free this week?)
