If the player's good he can dominate a 1v2 lane by actually out-damaging the opponent (unless they have Soraka, but most 1v2s get shafted by Soraka). He's also a very strong 2v2 laner because he brings a lot of damage and CC. As said, the problem is that he's like Fiddle, except without the teleport from out of the blue. Everyone knows he's coming, and has ample time to deal with him, and he takes ~3-4 seconds for his damage/CC to start sinking in. You just can't catch people by surprise with a Kennen.
Fiddle's problem is that when he falls behind it's really hard to come back into the game without serious team support. Kennen can at least push lanes really fast and get away with it. Do you guys remember about 1-2 months ago when I said "Kennen is great, he's got Fiddle's ult with no channel and a stun at the end" and everyone flamed me for it? Or when I was like "Yi is viable again" and everyone was like "stfu noob"?
well...neither of those are correct what's your point?
unless were talking about in general elo.
there's really only like 10 champions that are viable atm at the highest level of play

I'm looking to start learning how to jungle. I have the basics down and understand the risks/rewards, but what I don't know is locations of all the spawns.
Does anyone have a map of Summoner's Rift with jungle camp markings?

i shit on sunfire shacos
redtooth (or anyone else knowledgable, or anyone else who plays shen pretty regularly), on SHEN i generally open aegis, then merc treads, then banshee/randuin/guardian depending on if they're caster heavy, dps heavy, or balanced. would you suggest sunfire before any of those? stacked sunfires on shen?
when exactly DO i get leviathan? i generally get it as my 4th item but by that time, considering how poorly shen farms, it's pretty late-game and i rarely get more than 10-12 stacks... should i consider it earlier or would getting it early in the place of a core item cripple me? I start with ruby crystal, if I get an early kill or two (or a couple of assists) I'll grab it my first trip back. If I haven't been getting any kills/assists then I'll go for HoG (unless their team is like all caster), boots, Aegis (if no one else on the team is getting it), into whatever depending on their team comp. I think if you're gonna get leviathan, get it early or else don't get it at all.

The jungle camps are all marked in game, and they're mirrored on either side of the river too (except for dragon/baron). Just jump in a practice game and play around for a while. Learn the locations of the blue/red buffs, wraiths and the other two camps alternate (or is it random) between golems and wolves
|
The Golem/Wolf small creep camps are random in what spawns. Golems offer more exp than Wolves but also hit harder. Still, Golems are what you hope for spawning.

man I am on a ROLL lately. My W/L 21-18 at one point, and now I'm 35-20.
my last game was awesome, I was laning with a feeder sivir (0-7 in the early game). At the 20 minute mark my only solid teammate Jax dropped, and the already fed Sion killed him. 4v5, down 4 turrets and the kills were like 5-20. I was 0-3-1 at this point. Jax gets back online, we played defensive for a bit, and completely crush them in one huge counter push down mid. I finish 1-4-14.
this game had the best veigar I've seen. His stun placement was infuriating :|

See, that would be a lot easier to say with a JPG

Then go into a practice game and hit print screen...

Been playing around with fiddle and he's a lot of fun. Jungling is super easy and crowstorm is the most fun ult in the game. Only problem I have is that in team fights I'm only helpful with crowstorm. I try to fear + drain but that's so much harder with every one running merc threads <.<
|
you should be fear + dark wind not drain.

Personally after playing jungling Akali I have found that getting the double wolf camp is better because you don't need to blow smite on the golems and can then kill the wraiths faster, meaning that you lose less health but you jungle a little slower.

So you're saying I should log on, start a practice game, screenshot, edit the screenshot so it just shows the minimap, upload it then post it here when all you need to do is get off your lazy arse and start your own fucking practice game and learn more from that than a little fucking picture anyway?
Or alternatively, let me google that for you! http://lmgtfy.com/?q=league of legends minimap
Get a clue, and try and find things on your own instead of hoping someone spoonfeeds it to you. I was actually trying to help, so don't give me some bullshit about things being easier to say.

Even with jungle you're supposed to not level drain. At most you get level 2, but you should really make do without.

If there is only 10 or so champions really viable in higher levels then what are they?

Big stuff: -Ashe hawkshot -Feast fixed on Cho -Janna tornado nerfed -HSS bug fixed but improved scaling for HSS and spear throw -Nerf to Soraka's ulti -Massive Veigar buff -Visage and merc treads nerfed slightly
Pretty pleased with most of it, especially the Gangplank changes.
