Truth O_O
I was smurfing the other day and this one guy was like I'M THE BEST ON MY TEAM RAWRAWRAWR and seemed to genuinely believe that he carried us, except he really freaking sucked, lol. Well, pretty much everyone other than the 2-3 smurfs sucked, because low elo games are terribad skill-wise. But none of them know it.

2 questions....
how early are patch notes usually available?
i've been leveling as ryze simply cause he's fun to play. as i get higher however, im noticing that he is becoming less and less viable vs a lot of comps. who are a few viable end-game heroes along the same lines as ryze? by that i mean caster/nuke type, and not annie. i hate that damn bear....

then Kassadin for the freaking badass jumping spells Fiddle for the jungling option Anivia last

yeah I'm looking forward to reaching an elo that doesn't consist entirely of free champion roulette.

Patch notes are out for this weeks patch already. They usually come out on Monday or Tuesday of the patch week.

I always preferred the original SSB haha. I remember killing a pikachu in one combo from 0% to death as jigglypuff, was pretty lol. I mained captain falcon after seeing some Isai vids
|
yea, I main falcon in ssb, he's so easy, lol.
my friends who legit play it give me shit for lol grab -> death combos, but I don't play often enough to care about playing a more skillful character.
ssbm would be the love of my life, but the technical requirement to compete in the area I live is too high now that I have a job and shit. still the greatest fighting game of all time though... so much depth behind such a simple set of moves.
EDIT: 1000 posts, I'm a guardian, SUCK IT

thanks for all the replies guys. so for fiddle, is it all about ap?

I disliked SSBM as much because the person I played with the most with refused to use anyone other than peach. I ended up playing jiggly/sheik to take that biatch down.
|
once you get fast enough, spacies are hella fun to play vs. Peach. that bitch is so light, she stays in hitstun forever. but yea, when you're first learning about CC dsmash Peach is imba.
|
Never got into melee because they nerfed Kirby into oblivion and it just didn't bring the magic like the original.
|
i understand the nostalgia for the first game, but trust me when I say that the depth to competitive Melee far exceeds that of the original or Brawl.

I think AP is pretty standard (mainly Mejai), but other than that you have to balance damage vs survivability - if you ult and die in 0.5 seconds you're useless no matter how much AP you have.
