He had the misfortune of starting against Soraka/Kass and it set him behind by ~10 minutes. I think he did an admirable job given the circumstances - he tried roaming, jungling, but then he'd always come back to the lane because the Janna was being zoned so hard (us two level 7 Janne level 5) etc.

but yea, agree that that's a good post, just that I happen to disagree with his early burst being too good. someone needs to be the boss of early burst, and Pantheon's really isn't that ridiculous + his endgame is mediocre without bugged HSS (this of course could all change with the buffs, we just don't know yet), so I don't see why he needs to be knocked off his high horse.

EDIT: and yea, I won't care so long as the other buffs are sufficient. I know I have plenty of cases that demonstrate that they can balance well, but I'm still edgy about it since he's pretty much my only hero capable of playing at the elo I've come to.

Warwick? Not a fan of AS runes but they make sense on warwick.

Dodge runes work on anybody. I never take them over MP5 anymore though, except for manaless champs.

TF can do on-hit stacking builds that benefit more from AS than ArmorPen and as with all carries, I prefer him with 21 defensive masteries and dodge runes so that he's not so squishy early.

yea smash i wouldnt try to deal with LoL boards. the majority of the population of LoL is really immature and think they are "high" elo or just plain talk out of their asses. i dont know why LoL has particularly abrasive childish population. maybe i just havent been part of an online gaming community in awhile.

I dunno, generally-speaking AS is pretty bad - it's really low on my list of "runes to go for" when going on a damaging hero. Including Jax; I'd take Magic Pen (or Armor Pen depending on your build preference) instead. On other heroes most of my pondering would come via either penetration or crit%. Udyr's probably the only other hero (other than Jax) that would benefit significantly from AS and dodge, as his passive gives both, so it's like why not.

it just means TF can't see you and you no longer have a spell shield. not the best interaction IMO, but w/e.

so notice how that TF's first two items are malady (fuckin' yes!) and SotD, both for AS stacking and magic damage off of those hits. in a build like this, getting a free dagger off of your marks is better than any other set of marks, so yes, in that build (especially with LW devaluing your armor pen), AS marks are a good idea.

they're not all bad, you just have to be willing to argue your balls off, provide facts and then still be prepared for more than a fair number of people who have no idea what they're talking about spouting useless bullshit like they know better than you despite:
a) never playing the champion you're talking about
and
b) never testing the bug in a practice game
and
c) never researching the bug on the forums
...so yea, I guess it sucks, but I like arguing and writing and work is in a bit of a post-release lull, so I'm in the mood for it. Plus when you see idiots get downvoted and yourself get upvoted, it starts to restore my faith in humanity and the LoL community.

maybe the reason why mobas(or at least LoL) attract alot of noobs is that its really easy to be bad and still feel good about your games. you wont get completely stomped by people constantly like in iccup. in addition the game changes DRASTICALLY at higher ELOs so you might as well be talking about two different games. its kinda like SSBM. you could be the best in your group of friends and think you are so boss, but then someone comes with their shffls and wavedashing and you cant even freakin touch them.
