Is there ever some In-house tournaments? like team liquid having all members make a team and do a small tournament? do you guys ever do that?
also Where would i find a tournament of LoL?, not so i can play in it of course. but to watch on a stream or something?
As mentioned before I can help organize TL tournaments (as I have original post powerz) but because I can't guarantee being there I'm always apprehensive of being the organizer. Someone else who really wants the tourneys will need to step up in Gozey's place to be the main responsible dude.

playing with such widely ranging skill levels has never been particularly fun for me =\. Every time I've done fully arranged 5v5s, I've found it really unfulfilling.
|
Isn't too much fun for me either. Was amusing roflstomping people in 5 ranked despite picking up random TLers but that's not possible on Uta anymore ;;
|
DEMACIA!!!!!
well, I could enjoy ranked AT 5v5s with the right team, but in-house type shit where you're playing with a bunch of people you know through an outside source never ends well because of wildly different skill levels.

Get a Ghostblade somewhere. Builds from Avarice and all stats are great on Tryndamere. The active has less cooldown than your ult, so it's always ready when you want to use it. I'd probably just get another Phantom Dancer after IE/GB/PD.

I wouldn't mind doing a tournament, I even know two of my friends who would likely join my team. Like the above have said however, many players dislike doing things like this because of varying skill levels.
If you "randomly organize" the teams really really good players will get paired with not so good players against a team of semi-decent players and that will make it not fun for the good guys who get overrun because you can't 2v5 no matter how good you are when the other team is fed.
Alternatively, if you let players pick their own teams then you will have an event where the teams are so stacked its like there isn't even another team. Consider putting idrA into a bronze league only tournament and then ask someone to predict the results, as it would not be to dissimilar to a situation like this.

Isn't some form of lifesteal good on Trynd? I have no idea, I just thought you were usually supposed to get a bloodthirster or a Executioner's Calling somewhere in your 20K OMG I RAEP YOU GUIZ @ 50 MINZ build.

LOL MAYBE.
But I'll try to convince Gozey that SC2 is a bad investment and that he should invest his rage in League of Legends again.

Idk, it seems like Trynd just stacks as much damage to kill as many people in 6 seconds. I only play him on my smurf though.

Well yea, lifesteal is nice. But after you get IE/PD you will crit most of your attacks and you can get your life up rapidly after a battle using just the Trynd heal.
I just don't know where to fit in a life steal item. Avarice/Avarice/Zeal/Infinity Edge is pretty much set in stone, and I've tried delaying my Phantom Dancer in favor of a lifesteal item, but I didn't like it..

Ya most of the 5v5 inhouses we organize go really poorly, inevitably the skill is not equally balanced and one team has a player(s) that feel like they should screw around to even things out, but then you try to balance how much of a dickhead you feel like doing that to people because it's obvious you don't think much of them...
Or the majority of people are solid and someone is the odd man out that feels terrible for letting the team down.

Not like we were serious underdogs...-.-'

we should just do a sign-up in the thread, with the champs you play and your ACTUAL elo, and where you THINK you should be (most people probably think they're 50-100 points higher than they actually are i bet, but who knows) and what champs you play, and just have the 4 top players that sign up get to be captains, draft and pray. unless you've played with everyone from TL and know who's good and who gets carried, a blind pick draft like that should be fair to everyone, if not completely balanced.
something like 4 or 8 teams again (we might be able to put forward 8 teams with how popular the thread is tbh), maybe 2 divisions (level 30 and sub-level-30), each team plays each other, some team will go 3-0 or 7-0 and they're the winner boom.
just don't let ego get too involved and it could be a ton of fun

What? I can only play TT. T_T.

Thanks. Another Question, Should I prioritize health items over AP items, or the other way around?
