Losing with a good K/D ratio is worse than losing when you have a crappy score as a support lol

![]() I guess AD kat is better if you're massively fed and are 5 levels higher than their team, and they get no magic resist items or soraka.

Going like 12/6/X with AD ezreal then losing due to a mummy that doesn't know how to press R, a Gragas thats going pure AD, etc Losing with a good K/D ratio is worse than losing when you have a crappy score as a support lol Starting off 0-5 because you laned with a terribad Sion and then dying in every teamfight because you decided to teamfight with the wrong people and then getting yelled at for feeding as Soraka is not really any better. At least with a K/D ratio you can act like you're baller.

Went like 21-6-x in my first game and 16-7-x in my second (lot of deaths, I know... I get a greedy too often). I was building for a fairly well-rounded AD build with Infinity Edge, but I'm not sure what other items I should focus on. I messed around with the Frozen Hammer thing since I figured the slow would help stop runners and prop up my low HP, and I also tried Zeal for pretty much the same reason as well as more crit and attack speed. I see a lot of debate about AD vs. AP Kat. Seems to me like AP would be really weak early game. Anyone have any wisdom? Infinty Edge is one of the worst items you could get for Kat. Any time you're fighting you do something along the lines of "Advanced shunpo on a champion, Death Lotus, dagger, repeat" You won't be autoattacking at all. Try my ap build and see if you like it, I go ap because it scales with Shunpo, and I use shunpo a lot more than bouncing blade. Dorans blade + hp pot (can go boots if you want). Vamp guise, sorc boots, Rylais, Zhonyas, Banshees. I keep my 6th slot open for elixirs and wards.

did have a bunch of fun in a practice game with fiddle. got paired with a bunch of lvl30s that were premade and they kinda carried me. but got 2 REALLY nice ults off. won in lik 20mins. i just hate trying to last hit with mages >_<. plus he has a particularly slow animation.

Yeah, I'll be sad to lose out on a stronger Bouncing Blade but I'll give the AP thing a try. It seems like it might boil down to AP being better for ganking and teamfights and AD being better for laning and pushing.

Everything I've read really emphasizes Magic Penetration. Does MPen actually do anything for you if the enemy doesn't have any Magic Resist? It seems like in some of these builds you'd end up with like 80+ MPen but I rarely see people get that much Resist. Admittedly I'm probably pretty low ELO, but still...

Admittedly I'm probably pretty low ELO, but still... All heroes have passive magic resist, some more than others. Not to mention things like Soraka's passive. Magic Resist also has a rather high coefficient so it's easy to stack up to ~40% which absolutely neuters most spells. So yeah, Magic Pen is very important so you can focus your items mostly on AP/Mana/HP.

Edit: No wonder; 6:45 PM PDT: Due to the high number of players attempting to enter matchmaking, we have set the server status to 'Busy' to maintain server/matchmaking stability. We are planning a complete system restart at 9:30 PM PDT, with new game starts ending at 8:30 PM PDT.

When I saw the stats on it, I thought "This looks like a great item for Jax!" Now I think I'd much rather stop at the Bilgewater Cutlass instead and move on to a better item. I can't think of a single champion who'd get HG as one of their first 4 real items. (stats for the items are here)
