Nunu is a very easy jungler, I only tried him once since the patch, but QWQE(then MAX w) ... cloth armor + a few pots... smite... and it was very simple.. you can do golem first, or whatever .. still not my favorite jungler by far though..

Runes for jungling.. meh im pretty sure you can get by with nunu if you start at small golems or something

Well i used it to get rid of old runes, didn't really get anything useful. :/
I thought it meant like you combine runes to make super runes or something...

No you just combine runes to turn them into a random rune of a higher tier (or at tier 3 just tier 3). It's a sad-sack way of "selling" runes.

Theoretically you could buy 25 15 IP tier 1 runes (for 375) and combine them up to tier 3 and possibly save a ton of IP on say a 820 cost cooldown glyph. However the chances of actually getting something useful is really slim. With my luck I would get an energy rune or something.

i can see getting it on mumu for despair. but for your ult, its helping abit but not much. really you should just tell your team when its up and teamfight then. since its so long anyways, and you arent going to be using it a bunch, having a team fight a couple seconds earlier isnt a great use of blue buff.

Oh it's that cheap? I always assumed combining T1 up to T3 was fairly expensive without even calculating anything.

There are 17 runes for 205IP, 93 runes total. So if the chances for each rune are equal, you would most certainly make a huge profit in terms of IP.
Of course the bad thing is that only a fraction of the runes is actually useful, and even less are useful for the type of runepage you might be building currently.
You could go into detail and calculate the chances that you get "useful" runes for little IP...
If you have a good reason to disagree with the above, please tell me. Thank you.

Getting a 2nd level of Consume is a huge waste, also Ice Blast > Blood Boil early I'd say, with maybe some odd circumstances warranting otherwise. BB is a quicker jungle, but Ice Blast is a much better gank(and your jungling is already pretty quick with smite+consume). W will be at it's best when you have a carry around to throw it on, which probably won't consistently be until later in the game, and at that point you will have points in it(maxed by lvl 12).

I've done it a few times now in normal games for fun, and started mana golem, but if you don't have flat cdr glyphs and go 9/0/21 I don't think your 2nd consume comes up in time to save your life.

Anyone have any thoughts on a good counter-pick to Morgana? I find her far more annoying than Soraka or even Taric. Black Shield makes me want to murder puppies.

just went 19-1-11 the second time I played Kassadin, my only death being very early in the game


why people don't play this guy more I don't know, I felt unstoppable while using him

It's tough to be consistent, because he's surprisingly team-dependant and yet somewhat not. You'll also find that one mistake can cost your team the fight (especially if you take a solo lane and become the carry), and you have to consistently win 1v1 solo lanes no matter who you're against - if you can't you need to farm, but farming with a melee hero that has no innate staying power ability can be difficult if you're ever on the back foot.

I was telling Smash how (like in that game I linked above) it's pretty scary jumping through a whole team to smash their two ranged carries, because I'm gambling on a lot of things, like them not having the burst to kill me before my spells re-cycle, gambling that I can avoid the charging tanks coming back, and gambling that I'm making the right positional decision... and if I ever mess it up I'll insta-die and my team's stuck 4v5 after just one cycle of spells (which isn't really much damage).

He's also got huge defensive responsibilities (snarebot vs tanks) so it can be really difficult knowing when to give up on someone (or some people) and go for the kill.

I definitely feel like he's almost unlimited and you feel absolutely unstoppable when you're ahead (he's a splendid closer) but the majority of people really have trouble dealing with all the decision-making you have to do. For instance in the game above there's one fight around our golem that I accidentally teleported across the wall. If the game were any closer that one misclick would have cost us the fight, and possibly the game. I definitely needed to teleport "backwards" (to avoid Morg's ult proc) but I jumped in the wrong direction, or at least jumped too far. And in other games I've jumped back too far to avoid Garen/charging tanks and taken myself out of a fight, etc.

So i have 20 champs and I am lvl 25 but I still cant do a ranked pre made. What do you think is wrong?

This is why I don't play kassadin. I'm too afraid of making a bad decision and ending up dead.

Ezreal and Vladimir play a lot the same way but the margin for error is much higher because they're ranged dps.
