Amumu doesn't really need Golem late game. You'll typically just need to Bandage to initiate and cooldown will be up near the end of the battle where you need to use it again to chase. Tantrum and Cry both are low CD and mana costs. Only "justifiable" reason for Amumu to get Golem late game is to reset his ulti faster. But then again, you're trading one team fight spell for a possible 3-4 burst spells from your caster carry. | ||

Golem will decide teamfights, it gives 1 more force pulse to kass which is only needed if you have no mass slow and he farmed/got fed by going mid. Sion has 1 more stun/nuke if he went AP, Amumu will be able to ult A LOT faster the 2nd time, same for morgana and fiddle. If Cho died he should get maximum priority over anyone that isn't heimer. I don't care who you are, cho with less than 4 stacks and GA on CD is dead meat. Many players (especially those who can't solo golem) will start yelling for you to leave it to them just because they want the free mana, and that's the worst use they can make from it. Stealing golem from a non-optimal jungler (mumu, other tanks) especially around lv 7 means that he won't be able to farm as effectively or at all, and could possibly prevent him from ganking too. I can't think of any character outside of fast snowballing caster mids who can make a better use than a jungler who needs it to farm. | ||

More importantly if there is not one on the team and Im mummy I usually hog it, I dont get CDR from anywhere else, and my ult is just way too powerful for team fights :D. And despair eats mana pretty bad, Im oom a ton even at lvl 17-18 during the end of a long push or fight just cause I turn on despair and eat their team.. do so much damage :D. Red is a different matter, I give it to the ranged carry religiously after the first/second with priority especially on those like kayle and ez where red = free kills, also great on chars like olaf and stuff where they need the person to stick to them after the first/second red I usually ask if the nearest person wants it.. other than that, I find it much more annoying when mid steals my wraiths or even more importantly my wraith exp then losing an early red to mid who will probably get a kill with it.. I had an embarassing death to lizard the other day when I wasnt paying attention and mid stole some wraith exp, I was on phone, and proceeded to die at lizard without being lvl 3 -_- | ||
