hahah yes. epic win. you gus gotta watch the whole game thou. lilballz gets ganked by the whole team outside his 2nd mid tower and survives. then when the actual team gets there, he proceeds to get a 1v1 kill on taric. he just beasts the team the whole game its so fucking awesome. oh and HSGG is trollin with janna the whole time. unless that is some leet high elo strat to never lane with janna and just run around around EOTS people and dying to WW in the jungle cause hes 5 lvls behind
He obviously wants to stay low leveled because he will revive faster that way.

I've just seen a Kayle that was maxing E with many many AS runes/masteries. She was very very scary because her autoattack was essentially a nuke with 1 sec cooldown. We won, but she looked very powerful in early game and decent in midgame.

This is one of two Kayle skill builds I use. When I'm doing this, I usually go something like EQWWW. Your heal isn't mana efficient until it's pumped up a bit, and if you get it early you can get zoned. The other build is going for early kills/ganks, which is EQQWQ. This build is fine if you trust your allies to help you get kills in lane/set up ganks. Otherwise, you'll just end up underfarmed and unable to carry, which is Kayle's job. I think the heal build is a lot less risky.

The difference between level 1 E and level 5 E is 24 AD and some more splash damage. Unless you really think another 20% splash damage or 24AD is going to turn an autoattack into a "nuke", it's not worth 4 skill points.
Okay, so this may be a weird question but... how exactly does one carry a team? Do you absolutely need to have a solo lane?
I've been playing a lot of Kayle and Nasus lately, and I feel like I get some really strong farm in the early game, even in a duo lane. I don't always get kills early but I rarely die and I stay in lane pretty much until the laning phase ends unless I'm up against really strong opponents or scary stun comps (fucking Sion, ugh).
But when it comes time to start teamfighting, I just can't kill anything fast enough before my teammates start dying. Alternately, my enemies will just focus me down or CC me to death before I can do anything. Even packing cleanse sometimes is just not enough.
I swear, sometimes in this game I feel like all my attacks do 50% of the damage they do when someone else is playing the same champ. I really don't feel like I can do anything until late late game with a complete item set, and a lot of the times the game is over by then.
So is carrying more about just being a really effective ganker? Otherwise I guess I just don't understand the dynamic of how to carry teamfights when the rest of my team is being mediocre to bad.

And what the fuck is up with "nigger" being thrown around constantly in this game? Ran into this Mord last night who literally used it once per sentence. Though I am black, it's less that I'm offended by it and more that I'm just confused given that probably like 90+% of PC gamers are nerdy white guys.
Akali runes are simple imho. You guys are over complicating things.
My akali build is this:
9/21/0 Masteries, Cleanse, and Flash.
Runes: 2 AD quints, 1 HP quint, Armor-pen marks, dodge seals, and glyphs can be cooldown or magic res or whatever you want really.
Start off with Doran's blade and a health pot. I prefer to lane instead of jungling because you can actually farm *very* well with a competent lane partner. Port back when you can afford a sheen and boots, and start jungling. Basically build towards merc treads, rylais, sheen, and then w/e you want. The new buffed hextech gunblade is nuts on akali.
I focus on defense oriented runes/masteries/summoner spells because Akali doesn't have trouble killing things. If the enemy has a jungler, getting caught by you is their worst nightmare. It's escaping a gank or getting out after a teamfight that Akali struggles with.
Cleanse is crucial because even with rylais you're a glass cannon. Flash is fantastic for early game first bloods, and escaping. Your cloud + flash can get you out of almost anything.
Ohhh, also someone give me some tips on Kennen! I'm finding that I do crazy well early game and often pull first bloods, but I just feel totally useless late game. He's got no staying power it feels like. No way to replenish his HP and maintain a lane presence.
I've been building mostly AP, but picking up an early rageblade. I feel like he needs some major health regen or life leech or something.
how i carry with kayle is to call middle solo. last hit . get rageblade by level 7-8. ward dragon. get red rune. gank top and bot. in teamfight save your ult for yourself ONLY. if they attack your teammate good you're winning. if they attack you, ult yourself. you and your team should kill 2-3 heroes before you die.

One of Riot's goals was that you couldn't pay to win. This is why runes are IP-only -- you can't pay for power. Skins? Fine. Champs? Fine. Those don't add power.
Of course, in ranked, champs DO add power. If you don't have the complete set of top tier champs, you're letting your team down. Rune pages are the same way -- sure they don't "add power" but if there's a clear pick called for and you don't have a rune page for it...well, you're hosed. In combination with the fact that Riot hasn't released a champ at less than 3150IP in ages, I think they're really losing that early goal -- if you're not willing to pay or grind, you're less useful to your team.
testament to how awesome it was. honestly, it was so much better live. watching the youtube video is nice, but it doesnt capture the awesomeness of lilballz chasing kog and you are just like OMG GET HIM. and then he yells out this ridiculous profanity out of fucking nowhere and its just pure epic.
With Akali I've been getting sorc shoes into rageblade. Rylais is kinda boring and when I started getting rage first I just become so fucking dangerous. If I'm on a mad killing spree I'll Mejais after it, if not then into hexbladegunthing into Rylais
