I personally think AD has a stronger late game and AP has a stronger early game, so I prefer AD, but they are bot really effective. I feel that AP makes for a superior tank late game provided the other team doesn't have 500 stuns to throw at you. You can get items such as Lich Bane for damage, Abyssal Scepter for damage and tanking, RoA and a GA as well. His shield gives you so much EHP every few seconds while putting out damage if desired and presuming you farmed well you have a crap ton of health (I've had over 3k at level 9). Maaan I really should buy Sion and play him as DPS with Ghost/Cleanse, Inf Edge, Phantom Dancer, Atmas and Starks and Quicksilver. Should have a pretty sick lategame. <_<

God, Regi's videos are so bad. I disagree, his video just helped me go 18/6/21 after I saw the flash spin trick. It just never occurred to me . If an amumu hadn't stole 3 of my kills I woulda had a penta because of it.

YOU DIED 6 TIMES AS GAREN!?
Feeder!!!!!!!!!!!

18-6 with Garen imo is something that might happen when your team is feeding like crazy and so you feed that much

I love playing Garen. It reminds of playing Barb from Diablo 2.
Incidentally, Galio is not a tank, stop telling me he's a tank, and stop building him as a tank!

11 loses and counting, had an ashe that build philisophers stone, chalice of the void, boots of swiftness in that order
|
I still remember my first Mordekaiser game ever where I built a Philosopher's Stone first and still went 12-1 in the end
It's his unknown core

chalice of the void is a magic card with cost XX that stopped people from playing cards with converted mana cost = X, which was a big shutdown card in the really broken old formats with turn 1 kills and crap.

converted mana cost.. phrase drove me nuts
tell me why it can't just be casting cost
|
casting cost cares about color. converted mana cost is simply an integer representing the cards cost ignoring color.
mtg players are huge rule nazis, you cannot leave any room for interpretation in the rules.
|
and thats what makes mtg an amazing game, the rules literally have an answer for every situation
|
Chalice was useful during Mirrodin T2 as well though since setting it at 2 also deal with a lot of threats at standard.
I wanted to get judge qualification, then the rule changes kicked in and I lost all interest playing mtg =(

The rules are just general enough to cover most things, and where rules are broken it tends to be that the card broke rules and creates its own specifically for that. So yeah, not really rules cover anything, just that the card > rule priority fixes most of the problems.

Whatever, i call it chalice of the void.
12 loses and counting.. solo mid akali went 1-11-3 and was lower level than side lanes.
1550 to 1375 in 12 games, nice.
Why does every ladder system hate me?

I kept thinking about making a comeback and then they had to go and make combat strictly elementary. gg Wizards, keep crankin' out dem planeswalkers and Eldrazi or w/e.

instead let's talk about brutalizer on Garen. I think it's a waste of money that could be getting you closer to your unkillable breaking point. I understand the appeal, but I just love being impossible to kill and I'd rather have my sunfire cape at 2500 gold earned instead of 3800 gold earned.

I like brutalizer early, i think its worth the gold for the CDR at the very least
