Still learning GP. Just played a game where I got trinity force, ghostblade, infinity edge, had a carry ez, a carry mummy, and was 6/4/23...and we lost. One of the issues was that, while my hit'n'run DPS was stupid, my teamfight DPS was too low.
So. Many questions.
Is GP only viable if either his ult or his Q are instakills, or he tanks? Or does your team have to know to just avoid long-engage 5v5s, since GP just can't add enough to them? I notice that his recommended boots are sorc shoes...wtf? I thought parrrley was physical now? I opened Sheen, since it should be like +50 flat damage to parrrley, but I just wasn't feeling it. Should I really just go avarice -> IE -> ghostblade -> tank items?
I really like all GP's skills, but I have yet to unlock the secret to success with him...
Edit: also, should I be getting SotO and leviathan? His ult seems super-awesome for KSing/assist stacking, and his W makes him really tricky to kill.

ive been running chrispys build to great success recently.
dorans ring-boots-IE-banshees-atmas-ghostblade.
i find i do pretty decent damage through attacking/parleying whenever its up.
and the sorc boots are for his ult.

Shen sucks balls.
He has no defensive abilities (feint doesn't count) and he can't farm all that well, so he drops like a fly when focused.
Amumu and Rammus are so much better.

uhh from personal experience , you are having a really , really good game if ur ult nets you a kill, normal game if you manage to die just once, and a shitty game usually

yo i added you on sc2 redtooth, im pretty bad though, i think i shouldnt play protoss...they switched it from a macro race to a super micro race and im bad at micro.

I need to upgrade my pc to fix a vid issue I have before I really delve into MP, but the SP is a blast(SP the vid buffering doesn't bother me since it just acts like a pause and not a huge lag spike). I am definitely an achievement whore so it has kept me occupied far more than it probably should =]

shen dominates until about level 14-16 when other champs are gettig stronger. Shen owns the laning phase and can turn a 2v1 gank into a counter double kill. Just because his lategame potential is very small doesn't mean he's a bad toon. Certainly better than rammus and comparing him to amumu isn't fair cause amumu best champ

Hehe, weird to see SNK-Arcbound post here. It was pretty "wtf" to me when I saw you take smite on Fiddlesticks when I locked in early with Amumu w/ smite and you ignored me when I suggested you lane. That game got off to a pretty rough start but glad we pulled the win out. :p

You had ignite on amumu, so I sat for about 15-20 seconds. After I locked in, I saw your ignite changed to smite, I was thinking "fuckkkkkk". Having played jungle fiddle and amumu, fiddle can jungle better because he doesn't need to ever B. I'll even go so far as to say jungle fiddle can jungle faster than any other champion. And I believe they had no jungler, so I was planning on just splitting the jungle 1o'clock 7o'clock.
Laning fiddle is just bad, like a laning warwick or udyr.

hate to jump in but if I had fiddle + mummy on my team i would want the mummy to jungle, I am so poor and under leveled when I lane with mummy, I feel absolutely 100% useless. I pretty much won't take a tank(rammus/amummu) in solo que unless Im jungling which is kind of sad but that's how I feel, I will play taric on the off chance he's not banned and lane with him, cause it's a free win in that lane

Fiddle has lane staying power with drain, and a nice farming skill in E, and can solo or duo lane fine. I prefer him to have a solo lane if he's laning though.

I can't play SC II until I get home from vacation my computer's charger decided to stop working so i cant use my computer.. and my sc II disc is inside. Luckily my gf's got a laptop as well :D

Anything that jungles will be richer than a laner. Amumu can also solo dragon early. I'm not saying he didn't get screwed somewhat, I'm just saying fiddle levels faster, and can gank way easier.
