The design philosophy on the map is interesting. Riot clearly wanted more surprise, more jungling, and more PvP. It's also 100% symmetrical. I wonder why it's not fun?

Don't you hate it when it feels like everything just goes right for the other team? Always escaping hanks with minimal hp left or killing you when they have a massive creep wave pushing so they get a free tower too? Frustrating.

On the plus, Vladimir is EXACTLY the kind of "fun" champ I've been wanting to play. Solomid, lane til leviathan and mejai's, gank like mad and always steal the last hit. 6000 hp and 650 ap by games end too much fun.

Also lol at me getting temp banned for "terrible posting" followed by 30 pages of bickering and trash talking.

So apparently, morde's slaves get all the on-hit effects and sunfire capes that morde himself has? Frozen mallet and then send their own eve to chase after their ashe; ashe had to ECA the clone because it was so close. That's freaking awesome. Morde might be a craptastic tank, but if you can turn him into TWO tanks, then suddenly he's not so bad? :D

R>E>W>Q? I don't like Q, and W seems really good DPS in comparison.

Or maybe even R>W>E>Q? I'm not sure but having 80 damage per second and an extra 30 armor + magic res seems like an awesome way of scoring some early kills with lizard, ulti and ignite.

I don't play morde. I just see people get E because it seems so obvious, even though I REALLY think his shield thingy is his best spell.

an ashe clone is prty insane, seen one tower dive a soraka and kill her by itself. Kinda funny, actually, to watch as morde sat outside and moved ashe in and killed her.

The pet is definitely the coolest, best, and most unique thing about Morde. Unfortunately, it doesn't last long and is hard to control. Seriously, a possible thirty seconds of pet on a 120 second cd ultimate? That also doesn't do much damage on its own? Thirty seconds lets you push down one tower, and the pet only half the time spawns in time for the fight.

Morde's W is great. I sometimes pick up one level of Q to help me farm early if I have an easy/melee lane, but usually I just go straight W. It does so much more damage. Q sucks.

the real issue with morde is that he has no cc and there is no incentive to attack him, so if you just ignore him then u will rape the faces of his teammates while he can do nothing to stop it, imo he is prty awful, but kinda entertaining when ppl do actually try to kill you first

Wellllll, it really depends how farmed morde gets early on. Ignoring and walking past morde isn't exactly always smart if you are taking 160damage per second when he gets 2 sunfire capes. Then, after he gets his little slave out, his damage per second goes up to 240/s.

Can't just say "lets ignore the iron man that's in our face" and pretend there's no consequence, even though I agree morde is no mummy (but then who is?)

meh, you could say that of anyone who is farmed, yeah a morde who is 5-0, farmin up in a solo lane is gonna put the hurt on, but more often than not he doesnt really contribute in larger scale teamfights, simply because he is much more ignorable and doesnt help as much as other tanks

Well morde farms up faster than the other tanks, while making it nigh-impossible for the opposition to farm optimally. That's his advantage here. Morde farms up a sunfire cape probably at least 5 minutes faster than amumu or rammus.

Saying you NEED cc to be a good tank is flawed logic. Anyone can provide cc, not just the tank. A good team is made of a balance of cc and damage. Morde cannot provide the cc, but he provides damage. Is it enough to make him a good tank? Probably not, but he's got his strength and it's fun to play to them.

If I run in as morde and deal close to the DPS of kayle by just standing there while wacking away someone with lizard buff, that's a pretty big deal.

i find morde's laning to be very exploitable, and rarely lose to them in lane. Also, while cc isnt a defining feature of a tank, a tank need to bring more to the table than just being beefy, hell ezreal can stack sunfires and be nearly impossible to kill, but he is a shitty tank. Im just sayin that a tank needs something to make himself useful if ppl aren't focusing him and morde doesnt bring a whole lot (simply given his skillset and regardless of his farm in comparison to everyone else)

also, morde doesnt really do significant dmg unless he is quite overfarmed, and tbh, i find him to be best in a 1v2 moreso than any other lane set so that he can overlevel his opponents and take control of the lane

First of all, if you build morde tanky, he doesn't do that much damage... and the damage he does do isn't burst. So basically a melee tank/semi-dps with no chasing/cc/positioning.

A tank with cc is indeed pretty useless. Say it's amumu + ashe vs morde + ashe. amumu runs up and ults your ashe, the other ashe kills her instantly. Meanwhile, if morde happens to be in position, he might be able to get in a few whacks but he's not going to out-dps ashe.

A tank needs to provide cc to draw fire. If you're only doing moderate dps over time, people can safely ignore your damage and just run away when low.
