I mean, he's a lot like morde, but you have to realize that Morde is the bottom tier champ of a whole category of good champions (tanky DPSers with no mass disable) like Nasus, Xin, Warwick, Udyr and Garen

Sure, but Wither and bear stance are a LOT better than Garen's silence, IMHO. I do like his mini-Olaf thing, but...then why not just be Olaf?

That's your loss I guess, I read every post.
Garen is good because he can get on your face and hurt you while doing so and never dying.

Well Garen's got that silence so that he can deal with those pesky blinkers, one of Mordekaiser's biggest problems. The blinkers wont be able to outrun Garen so he's a pretty good counter to them. He also doesn't have to stand still for that .2 seconds like Morde does to use him aoe damge, Garen can just go on spinning and burning people while moving all around. And since no one probably focused Garen in a team fight he's almost certain to be a survivor and he's a good chaser.
Garen trumps Olaf in every way I think, except for the fact that he's not a good jungler.

He's a tank with a massive AoE snare, what did you expect? Also if you itemized properly and die in a teamfight it means that the opposite team burned enough stuff on you instead of pounding your squishies. Which is good unless they died too.

Garen is good for a lot of reasons. Movement speed and silence, judgment making him immune to snares, his ult being an excellent burst and focusing tool, and of course his passive (to a lesser extent} and courage make him very durable. Comparing him to morde is fine, but its not that hard to see why he's far superior.

It's possible you're not farming well enough to get enough items, try jungling and if you can set up a few kills early on you should be good

what do u guys think about getting 2 sunfire first on xin zhao?
Im getting a lot of complaints about it but somehow i feel its ok.I mean whenever i charge in almost always every1 attacks me,therefore i need a lot of armor/hp.And the plus dmg is just awesome.

I have a question for someone perhaps more experienced with the hero.
Currently, AD or hybrid Ezreals are popular and people say AP isn't viable anymore. But from my last game I noticed that MS both procs and consumes lich bane meaning once you have the item it effectively gives MS a 1:1 AP ratio. Also, AP boosts all of his skills.
Is there a reason AP Ez isn't considered useful anymore?

ap boosts his Q?
anyways i like AD more than AP for a few reasons
1.) tower pushing
2.) good players rarely let u actually hit them with his W.. it's range is so short
3.) his Q is massively spammable, and hits SO SO HARD when you go AD.
that said ,I think AP/AD/Hybrid are all viable if you play them right

yea, no heal and nerfed AP ratios, he's pretty effin' bad. having to build a 3.4K item to get a 1:1 ap ratio on an ability that relies on armor pen is not a reason to play AP Ez.

Just had a game where I was the lowest rated by ~100 ELO. Carried. It turns out, when your teammates are good enough to not feed, you can just farm, and then carry. No need to constantly cover lanes and deal with randomly fed gankers on the other team. Hooray!
