I'm actually playing Sunfire Shaco right now, and so far I'm 7 wins versus 1 loss. I love just pushing sidelanes while my team does all the work, and then swooping in to kill the low health champions.
This signature is ruining eSports.

if you like the playstyle of nasus, I would recommend trying Olaf and mordekaiser. They both can do what you described and they also scale very well into lategame, as does nasus(although nasus is probably the best at this since everyone continues to get higher hp and he only farms Q even more)

jax to a lesser extent is another champ you might want to try, he requires more finesse though

Umm...some caster who looked like a lich? Forget his name >.< sorry I'm a n00b still. He was alright but I was 2-3 levels above him the whole game as I usually take the solo lane so he wasn't much of a factor.

You're talking about Karthus.

I am now daring all the European Team Liquid League of Legends players (EUTLLOL) to participate in this tournament: http://forum.leaguecraft.com/showthread.php?tid=5573

No prizes and such but it sounds like a fun open tourny for everyone to participate in. I am going to participate with my own team here (as soon as I find out who can and cannot join.)

Also, any possibility for the In-house TL tournament to become a regular event say held once every second week or so? I mean: then I would probably be over lvl 25 the next time

I got dodged 5 times in a row (they weren't on my team, mind you).
Which reminds me, I'm done with solo que's so I hope some people at liquidparty will start 5v5ing with me :<
I thought I did fairly well in the IH, and that was just my shen <.<

sunfire karthus!

with E (the dmg aura) + the sunfire caps you do sume really crazy dmg, while W (wall) makes it possible to kite melee heroes, kill fleeing heroes and do additional dmg in general. i find this style amazing. got some really crazy stats with this and i never got the feeling i should do things differently. i would recommend getting Archangel's Staff before the sunfire caps, because E eats mana like crazy.

Hey guys.. I've been reading this thread and I decided I want to play some kind of mage type, but I'm having a huge problem deciding which heroes to use my hard earned points on.

I got annie (kind of like her) and veigar (did NOT like him) so far with my points, and I'm just like meh, just two glass cannons with alot of nukes and not much CC.

I have been thinking about using my last bit of points for maybe kassadin, aniva, karthus, morgana (played her last week), etc.

My question is: Out of the mage type champions, which are the most VIABLE. I am aware that all the champions are viable at level 30, but which ones have that slight edge and are able to be used in any environment (I do alot of solo Qs). I really like ones that have slows, but it seems that the casters with slows don't have the umph to kill stuff at the last 20ish%.

Janna is lame. I don't like her. LOL

Heroes in LoL have specific roles. They obviously won't impress you if you try to play them otherwise.

Kass is more of a dps with slow, silence and blink.
Aniva is a nice support hero with a lot of AoE abilities and slow/stun.
I don't like Karthus. He's simply an R hero.

Others you might consider:
Soraka is the ultimate support hero. She gives health, magic resistance, armor, mana, pretty much everything.
Ryse is a very easy to use burst dmg hero but if you didn't like Annie or Veigar, you probably wont like him either.

Aniva is a pretty rounded mage although she is 6300 ip. She's very easy to farm with, has decent survivability as well as good damage output.

anyone got a good jungle nunu build?

I started messing around with him last night and I've been getting 2-3 doran rings -> boots -> RoA -> Zhonya's but it doesn't seem that great.

His auto attack doesnt do a whole lot, and his ice blast cool down feels a bit too long so I only get to use it a couple times in team fights. Seems like I need to work in some CDR to make myself more useful?

Anivia is amazing if you get to know her, but unfortunately from watching other anivias most people don't have a clue how to play her

I don't find her that difficult, honestly. Your Q might be a little weird for first time use, but everything else is straight forward. It's pretty easy to use your ulti in team fights and wall for better positioning.

I'd recommend Fiddle, Anivia, and Annie for burstcast/CC.
