Anyone with tips on playing him? I have an easy time as Ashe vs Heimer, how do you do the reverse counter? Btw, if anyone says to put down turrets, spam rockets, spam grenades, I'll kick their face with my internet. *Update, first face-kick customer: Wrawra/Redtooth* | ||

Things to keep in mind playing heimer 1. you are an attrition champion, never go burst to burst with someone. you want to slowly whittle them down. i recommend maxing turret and grenade first in his current state to really abuse pushing power, missiles are negligible since they hit minions mostly in lane anyway. 2. hit their turret with grenade whenever possible 3. rush zhonya's 4. get golem whenever you can (seriously its ridiculously easy with his new turrets so dumb, golem dies in like 5 secs) | ||

i'm not level 30 but here should be the base of your mastery build http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/mastery-tree-planner#&tree1=3-0-0-1-3-4-0-0-3-0-3-3-0-1&tree2=0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0&tree3=0-0-3-1-2-3-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0 obviously adjust to whatever suits how you like to play ashe, but i like to harass often while spamming volleys. runes; red: armor penetration yellow: dodge or attack damage blue: cooldowns purple: w/e, just make sure they're useful spells; cleanse/ghost or flash/ghost. strong preference towards cleanse/ghost as a cleanse is more likely to save your ass than a flash. item build; since riot nerfed the fort pot. i usually start off with long sword/hp pot. i should try experimenting more with boots/double pot but w/e. either way i lane until i have enough for brutalizer (should be 1200ish?), or if you're going boots/pot, until the same amount for beserker boots (do note if you are playing against a hero that is based around stuns/slows, get the mercury treads) after that branch into either last whisper for attack speed + penetration, sword of the occult for damage stacking or just rush into your first bloodthirster. what i usually do is get my first bloodthirster, then sword of occult -> bloodthirster -> infinity edge or cleaver. usually infinity edge. if you get the sword of the occult early on make sure not to die. this ashe build is based around yourself snowballing bigger and bigger. i've tried experimenting with more lifesteal items such as malady and stark's fervor but they seem a lot shitter than bloodthirster. comment plox. | ||

Ashe usually does not benefit too much from lifesteal, as she does not steal enough to be meaningful during big fights; she just needs a bit of lifesteal to keep health up between fights. I've tried many Ashe builds in over 300 games with Ashe, and I find that going pure damage is best to make yourself a threat, or else you can just be ignored in fights. Start with a Doran's blade for hp/damage/a bit of lifesteal. Then, go straight for Infinite Edge. Aim for BF Sword first; if lane is tough and can't farm, go for the Pickaxe. Get your boots around the time you get your BF sword or pickaxe; hug your towers as it's the key to your survivability early on, and just concentrate on farming; she needs a LOT of farming and support from teammates to be effective. If you're getting focused to hell in every fight, it might not be a bad idea to get 3 total Doran's blades for the HP, bit of damage, and lifesteal while you work on your other items. Also, Damage > Attack speed; Ashe is very reliant on her first Crit hit, and it hits like a truck. In addition, volley applies attack damage. After your Infinite Edge, get Bloodthirster and Last Whisper, in whatever order you prefer, whether you need the pure damage or armor pen/attack speed earlier. For masteries, go 21/9/0, with 3 in armor/magic resist/regen. This gives her lasting power in lane while maximizing her attack. For upgraded boots, it's a tough choice between Berserkers vs Merc Treads vs Swiftness. Merc Treads give a bit more survivability, but regardless, if you get hit, you're going to die in team fights if the other team is smart at all. For summoner spells, Cleanse/Ghost or Cleanse/Flash. I actually like Flash better, but I used to run Ghost with good results as well. Biggest challenge with Ashe is that she is completely dependent on positioning during fights, and that she has zero defensive skills outside of her summoner spells. She is the definition of squishy. If the other team has a fed shaco, you are going to be going through hell during every fight. I just find her too fragile for higher ELO games when the opponents know what they are doing. | ||

This is what I do, it keeps a healthy mix of ap and magic resist so that you're both tanky and still do damage. -Start with regrowth or doran's shield -750 gold -> basic boots / sapphire crystal -catalyst -rod of ages -merc treads (sell the regrowth around here if you took it) -2x negatron cloak -abyssal scepter (I know it's a little expensive for what it gives, but it ties into this build pretty well) -Finish it off with banshees / guardian angel / rylais I messed around with double rod builds but you live way longer if you just get one rod and then start buying mitigation items. I usually start popping blue pots pretty much every team fight starting from when I get merc treads. Blue pots + ult makes your poison and fling do some pretty nasty damage to everyone. The most fun about this build is if their entire team is ap/tank, with maybe only one dps or something. Once you get the 2x cloak, you can honestly turn on ult and just run right into their entire team to fling someone and initiate with no fear of dying. If your teammates back you up, with your ghost and ult, few people are going to get away. As for teams that are mostly dps, I've yet to find a build I really like. I usually sub out one of the neg cloaks for chain vest and make a thornmail or something. I find that for Singed, it's key that you balance defense so that you don't die in a second of focus fire, and that you do enough damage that people can't just ignore you all teamfight. This is easier to do if you're stacking magic resist cause many items have hp and some additional ap as well, and I find there are less options for armor.
