Actually I encountered significant lag in my game, made me lose cuz i had to reconnect twice. My champ wouldn't even move.
Also riot gave me a game loss for quitting at the load screen when the server went down and no games were starting. Lame.

What's your Ryze build like, masteries, spells, skill build, items? I kind of like the hero but haven't played very many games as him yet (not even lvl 20 yet).
Rushing Zhonya's seems good since he doesn't have much escape wise. After that I haven't picked out any must have items.

NonY should play teemo then.
Teemo is a lot like a Phoenix, hes small and flies around in circles being obnoxious. He only fights when you can't do anything for a few seconds and if you chase him you'll either run into a trap or not be able to catch him.

oh and godly, i love how akali got Soto when she was going 0/14/4. people and their bullheaded builds. oh and your ashe had a massive fail build too. where do people come up with these and think theyre good?

i think as long as you communicate a lot the game is more enjoyable even with bads. I was jungling with udyr and we had a taric on our team that didnt even know what jungling was "Udyr what are you doing?"
so i just told him to heal me as i got the golem and then go lane, then i would literally type out "going here, ganking here, etc" obviously doesnt work if you cant type quickly but if you are nice and are doing well people will listen.

Currently 19th in solo queue ladder as Zephyriil! Not that it means much and will last for long, but I gotta massage my ego a little bit.
Regarding solo queue ranked, I think, at least for the moment, you guys should be picking champs that will either steamroll, given an early advantage, or carry, given weak teammates. It's going to take a day or two before the bad players start really getting shifted down, so until, either try to carry (this isn't to say that you should, say, totally neglect a tank if your team needs one), or just relax and don't queue in solo ranked.
With Ryze, regarding item builds, RoA -> Zhonya's with a doran's ring to start should be pretty solid, as it is on almost all casters. I really think that Ryze needs the RoA for the HP, especially since his spells have such low range. The mana it provides also helps increase Overload damage. Then, Zhonya's adds a significant chunk of AP and an amazing survival active. I do recommend that anyone who plays Ryze just play Annie, though, since she's pretty much just better, and not a particularly common pick or ban in ranked.
I think as Kog'Maw, assuming your team has adequate squishy protection, you should just build glass cannon AP and space well, since his skills (except his Q active) have such long range. Usually, I build something like tear -> Zhonya's -> archangel's on him.

Um, he's been banned almost every single ranked game I've played. I main shaco. That and the Pantheon nerf has made it so I have no characters I'm actually good with anymore.
