how exactly do the buffs destroy him? Pre-nerf panth was a monster in the laning phase and all this nerf did was tone him down a little.... maybe he drops a tier but if you say tier 4 you're exaggerating.

Is the LoL TL community pretty active? I used to play A LOT of TL dota inhouses nightly, but once HoN was released it's as if everyone disappeared ;; Are inhouses pretty common for you LoL players?

I just wish they would post the top 500 ELO list right meow, just to see where everyone finished at.  It'd be so nice of 'em!
^^ To the poster above, yeah it would be worth it definitely. When you start out you play with mostly total noobs and maybe one or two smurfs but the game is still fun. And its really easy to get the hang of this game too and because its so team oriented you can just be 'okay' and still win games and have fun.

he was tier 2, he was never tier 1 and the people who said that were dumb, there, I said it.
his spear shot at it's most relevant phase got hit by a 50% mana increase, which means that he'll now lose what were once close attrition wars.
during the early game we don't care about that CD redux on aegis because it's less than HSS, so w/e, we don't have mana to spend on more stuns unless we can follow them up with HSS.
oh, speaking of which, HSS does less damage pre-itemization and also post-itemization. both base and scaling damage were universally sodomized across all levels.
I thought we were normalizing the character, not nerfing every single piece of his game!?

uh, let's see, up until level 4 spear shot, he's taking a mana cost hit. at level 5, it costs 5 less mana, whoop di fucking doo
according to their numbers, his aegis got a .5 second buff at level 5 and a .5 second debuff at level 1. let's assume for the hell of it that their numbers in the patch notes are wrong and that it's actually a 1 second stun (which I could've sworn it was). well, decent buff at level 5, double the duration, still deals effectively ZERO damage, but w/e, 2 second CD increase. early game it's theoretically better because of the CD reduction, but this doesn't do a whole hell of a lot because due to mana issues (which are now going to be much tighter anyway thanks to spear shot changes) we only cast it when we can follow up with HSS. and if their numbers for stun duration are right, we also won't be able to combo into the whole heartseeker until we get extra points.
and heartseeker took it up the butt, no question. great, we can use it again 2 seconds sooner, I'd like 60% of my AD + 60 bonus damage back plz.
ooh ooh and we get 0.9 more armor and 50 more health at level 18, GREAT, THAT OUGHT TO BALANCE IT OUT.
so we took a character who was usable solely because he could steamroll early, then we took away his potential to do that, then we also nerfed the scaling so that his gimped snowballing could lead into a super-gimped end game. fan-fuckin' tastic riot, you sure knocked this one out of the park.

We used to try to have in-house tourneys every two weeks but Gozey vanished and no one else wants to go through the pain of organizing. I could try but I can't guarantee I'd be there which IMO is a pretty big bottleneck for it. The LoL TL chat room is usually packed.

It's really up to you. I'd put the learning curve similar to Starcraft, so if you have the drive to play SC and get better at it, you can do it with LoL as well. People put up decent VODs etc to watch if you prefer that, there're guides, etc. From a mechanical standpoint LoL is obviously less demanding, as the game is more about decision-making.

Yea totally agree with Mog. From the little time I spent on Panth, you def did not want to use anything but spear often due to mana cost. Only to burst ppl dead. I can imagine getting completely zoned now against any other ranged enemy in a lane. I wonder how weak the lvl 3/4 burst combo will be now..
Edit: Im praying they dont nerf WW somehow. That would completely screw me. I dont like the playstyle of the majority of other champs.

Honestly unless I'm in a tryhard premade or with 3+ players that I know personally I hate being in vent with other people. I know it improves coordination, but it also improves raging, whining, bitching, and arguing.

I prefer typing/pinging as opposed to talking. Whenever im on vent its usually just to listen to the other people. They always go "Uhh why is EzPz typing and not talking"

TBH it's because most of the high level games I play are not on vent and most of the premades I play with baddies are so I have this general "we're on vent, this game is gonna suck" conditioning built in. Can anyone else confirm?
