Get Avarice as appropriate and then rush IE if you want damage. doesn't yuomou's give crit chance? and armor pen is always good on dps champs. IE is just such a big investment. start crit cloak, get no damage. start bf sword, get no damage for forever and when you get damage you've got no crit. start pickaxe and get a little damage but no crit. i dunno it just feels like a late-game item for trynd. Yes, it has 15% crit. But the reason you want IE is that with IE, crit gives much more damage than AD for the same money. And since you already have a lot of crit, IE will give you ridiculous damage. Avarice, Zeal, IE, Ghostblade, Phantom Dancer sounds really strong. If you get Ghostblade before IE you will still do almost no damage though.

Again, the better trynds I've been seeing do something like Avarice blade -> Zeal (the pre-requisite to Phantom Dancer, actually pretty efficient) -> IE -> Ghost Blade (gives you a lot more bang for your buck than Phantom Dancer) -> Phantom Dancer

In most discussions about heroes, specific rune setups are mentioned, but how can you have specific rune setups for different champs? Not everyone has 7 runepages, and it seems to me that having some general strong runepages (like, one for AP, one for AD and maybe one for tank or jungle if you have 3 like me) would be the better choice if you intend on being able to pick multiple champions? I'm especially concerned about this because of the akali discussion. Akali is one of my mains, and I really like full defensive masteries if I'm laning, but I can see the point in getting 21 in offense if you're jungling. Should I then have to have two runespages just for akali so I can jungle and lane with her? since I really enjoy and find both ways of playing her reasonable. What are you Akali players solutions? I would have 2 generalized rune pages + 1 Akali page in your situation. ArPen/Mp5pL/MRpL/ArPen MPen/Mp5pL/APpL/AP Shared Akali Page I can see the reason to spec more defensive in lane in masteries, but do you need a different rune page to accomodate that? Then again, I'm bad at compromising on this stuff, so I have 10 pages :p. Well, that's the problem. If I go offensive masteries, I only need one damage quint, if I go defensive, I need 2 :S, and for jungling I need 2 ap quints, so therefor the need for two different rune pages for lane/jungle which would suck considering my 3 pages. I have two generic ones for caster/physical and it works great, but Akali is a bitch to spec :/.

Based on discussions here I've gathered that HP quints are usually not optimal but I like them enough generically until I know for sure what champions I'm going to specialize in. MR/lvl is probably not the optimal blue rune for casters but I still like it enough to not spend more IP on different runes at the moment, since the next runes I buy are probably going to be ASpd runes so I can jungle more efficiently. you barely notice the blues. I wouldn't buy AS yellow/blues until you really just have IP to burn, liek me :p.

18/3/9 flash smite, arpen red, armor/level yellow, mres/level blue, 1 hp quint 2 movespeed quints green pot + 5 hp pots wraiths, smite the big one but don't activate green pot, use 1 hp pot and Q once after all the small wraiths are dead. proceed to small golems, you should be 85% health or more. activate green pot as you attack the first one. 1 hp pot, 1 Q during teh fight. another hp pot as you move to wolves. start big wolf. smite will come up halfway through big wolf, resist the temptation! 1 Q during the fight, don't use an hp pot until you get to blue golem. kill the small creeps first to rack up Qs. use Q whenever it's up and you're low health, blue golem is a toughie. but you should be riding around 65% crit chance the whole fight so ezpz. port back after blue. ~500 gold buys you crit glove + 2 more pots. run to wraiths, spinning across terrain. small wraiths first, don't smite the big one (it shouldn't be up anyways) red lizard, kill teh small ones first, smite will come up during your fight. when you finish red lizard you'll be half-way to 5 with 1/3 or more of your green pot left. gogo gank with shout, spin, and use flash to avoid a stun if they toss one at you. you'll arrive to the lane at like 1/2 health so it's risky, might consider using all health pots but i liked the 55% crit chance and just assumed i could spin/flash to safety if there was a problem fb will net you 1000 gold here, buy avarice and pots, go back to jungle, good luck!

My friend plays pretty much Trynd exculsively, and while I'm not sure he has the best jungle route he's pretty much refined his item build to the best that I've seen. He goes for double zeal before IE, but that could be personal preference. He runs crit and dodge runes, I'm trying to get him to build a troll Furor page.

>.< I've been running 1) ArP/Mp5L or HP / CDR / HP 2)MPen / Mp5L/CDR/HP I've bought most of the T2.5 quints though and I'm going to buy AP blues and MR blues next I think because CDR is pretty much all I've got so far and works well with most of the heroes I play (Amumu/Karthus/Nasus/Urgot etc.) Since there are no heroes I really want to buy for the next little while, barring a really interesting new one (but what are the chances of that, amirite?) I think I'll just save up for a couple extra rune pages. Though hopefully Riot's bribing of people to vote for them in whatever it was will pay off... Free rune page + champ weekend + IP boost for everyone!

So, you get an Avarice Blade that actually pays off by the time you can afford an IE. Why get multiple Zeals if you're a joke even with multiple of them?

As for Trynd, my friend gets double zeals because Trynd isn't useless when he has the MS and AS to actually kill people mid-game. Avarice Blade is useless on Trynd because it doesn't cover any of his early-game weaknesses.
