I'm like 95% positive that armor pen works, but not on-hit effects. Crits, debuffs, anything like that, doesn't do anything for ricochets. Just get that attack damage and attack speed up to get the most out of the bounces.

Get Last Whisper, actually. It should work on Ricochets since the last patch. That and some more flat AD like Bloodthirster.

flat APen and armor reduction seems to work with everything that does physical damage.
Life steal seems to be "on hit" (so ricochet bounces shouldn't proc it, only the first hit), crit has its own rules (only autoattacks and a few selected spells afaik).

the problem might lie in your router then. i used to get amumu every time and i could only play with the code. i also couldn't access the store. i tweaked a few things on my router (and a couple options on internet explorer... a browser i don't even use wtf) and fixed it

OK guys, with the demise of Gozey, I'm going to (try to?) run a TL inhouse. Unlike Gozey, I'm going to try to mix things up a bit to keep things fun, since TL has a pretty diverse skill range. Sign up by November 12th, tournament on November 14th, ~~17:00 GMT (+00:00)~~ 19:00 GMT (+00:00) (note: this will be after daylight savings ends, so it'll be 2pm eastern time; TL's time tag may currently imply 3pm eastern) (second note: moved 2 hours later so west coasters can play). Here are the rules:

Signups are individual. I will cut off at multiples of five. If I get 27 signups, the last two people to sign up will be dropped.

PM me to sign up.

Teams will be auto-generated based on ELO to keep things even.

Series will be three games.

Game 1: Teams will draft from the week's free champions (10 free champs means no bans). You are drafting for the OTHER TEAM. In other words, you want to pick the worst, weakest, most unbalanced composition possible. Standard 1-2-2-2-2-1 pick order.

Game 2: Teams will take turns banning from the free champions, 1-2-1-1, with the team that lost game 1 going second (and getting 3 bans). This will leave 5 free champions remaining. Both teams will consist of these champions (mirror match).

Game 3: ARAM!

I'd like to use more than the free champs, but not everyone has everything, and keeping lists of who you can legally ban/force the other team to use based on who has what is too much of a hassle.

There are other considerations though:
What are the alternatives? ~4% might not sound like much but it´s almost as good as the ultimate offensive mastery. It´s certainly more DP/S than SoS would give HP/S

Mastery points and runes always pale in comparison to in game items. What you should really be comparing mastery points to is other mastery points that you can get instead.

I wouldn't suggest using any codes to login to the server while it's busy. There was a red post on the forums basically saying that if they see people in client when they're not supposed to (after they removed the konami code) they'll be making it a bannable offense.

My friend got killed by a Taric the other day and I was like wat?

Manamune is a tasty item though.

In other news, with all this MPen vs. AP talk I think I'm going to try some mega early AP Kass vs. crazy MPen Kass and see how that goes.

I still can't forget a game I played a long time ago when I started where my entire team was destroyed VERY early on by a Kassadin that seemed to be doing way more damage than he should have been able to do...and I want to find out how it was done.

WW is jungling. Going to red buff. Middle lane is Heimer, bottom is Taric (lanemate is dead).

Shen, Eve, and Ashe are all confirmed going to red buff to gank WW. Eve already has a kill, Ashe just bought.

What's the right call? Does WW back off of red? Or do Heimer/Taric try to get there before Ashe/Shen, without getting caught by Eve and 3v1 ganked?

The correct call is WW should be bottom with Taric while his lanemate is dead. Since he was at red he should be GTFOing (likely towards bottom tower, where Taric can meet him half way to provide "cover") and he can return to the jungle once Taric's partner returns and the other team backs off.

If Eve was not in the picture (I'm assuming the three you mentioned were either mid + bottom or bottom + jungler for their team) and it was some other champion then it might be wise to counter-gank and defend WW given the amount of CC heimer and Taric can bring that early in the game (again, I'm assuming this is early on as there is only one kill mentioned) and the healing Taric + WW's Q have. However, with eve being able to position freely and double stun you guys I'd recommend backing off and waiting.
