that's actually pretty cool.. Pantheon could actually use it now :D? Rune changes look interesting.. Idk if they are better then the penetration, probably hero dependent.. Penetration is just a really good stat. You can actually have a ton of ad at lvl 1. pretty crazy.. I hope they tested it with all the heroes. Looking forward to trying all this stuff out | ||

Of all the heroes I've played so far, I've enjoyed going solo mid with Miss Fortune, Ashe, and Tristana the most. This probably means I have an affinity for ranged dps/AD heroes that are good candidates for soloing. Any other heroes similar to these that I should be looking to purchase? Twitch and teemo seem like appropriate choices, but I'd like to start with the better ones first since heroes are pretty expensive. Second, I'm level 19 right now, and gearing up to start making my first rune page. Since I plan on playing mostly AD/dps heroes, my first rune page must cater to them. Any suggestions on how to set up my rune page? Thanks! | ||

Any suggestions on how to set up my rune page? Thanks! Kayle is my suggestion, kayle is really powerful and really easy to play/learn... , Corki, kogmaw..(corki isn't very easy to play).. MF and Tristana are really really good.. ashe is decent, Twitch has an interesting play style, you may or may not like him, he's good , but not easy to play.. Idk about teemo hes getting changed tonight.. so he might be better might be worse As far as rune page is concerned, I'd hold off a few days and read these forums, runes are being changed tonight so lots of discussion over next few days and then ask again and we'll probably know how to help you.. Without the changes I recommend Armor Pen Marks, Armor Pen quints, mp5/lvl seals, and then probably mp5/lvl glyphs.(you can run something like Health quints too if you play a more passive style and aren't harassing a lot) But.. since changes are being implemented tonight, Idk what the best runes are yet.. AD runes might be really good, or Arpen runes might just be a little less important | ||

She has everything I need... slow, stun, farming ability (and hawkshot +gold!), scouting ability, crit... just too good! | ||

(Sivir/TF may work as well) IF you want to kick in earlier with your damage Kayle and Ez are good picks for mid game carries. *WHY are all ad carries are so expensive 2. Cookie cutter ad carry runes are armpen reds (may change with patch), mp5/ hp per lvl yellows, mp5/cdr/mres blues, armpen quints (may change with patch). You build based on your preferences. Double mp5 runes makes it so you can almost spam everything and not run out of mana, defensive runes make you not die in 2 seconds. | ||

Kogmaw needs to be good at when to engage so that pantheon or xin wont just jump on you and kill you Corki is one of my favorite because theres many ways to build him good, and theres allready been a discussion on him lately (manamune, triforce was smashgizmo's variation, some just do the cookie cutter 3 dorans blade IE LW build, myself I build manamune and then mallet BC tri-force or ghostblade is my usual followings, but I rarely build IE if my basic build isnt triforce og ghostblade since I have a "meh" feeling about my crit % otherwise. | ||

new jax laning with janna (who maxes shield first) with AD quints + reds (or was it yellows... w/e) and janna shield will have something absurd like 1200 HP and 80 bonus damage at level 3. add to that his new empower mechanics and janna/jax might be one of the strongest lanes in the game again? also i've never thought about this before and this is total theorycraft but doesn't rally give AP+AD? wouldn't it be insane on jax/kayle? like if you know you're gonna need to towerdive as jax, throw down rally while tower is shooting you? you'll get a huge boost of HP and then iirc tower will switch target to the rally thing (and even if it doesn't you'll still have HP boost) which tanks 2-3 hits? totally situational and probably not worth a summoner spell slot but just wondering | ||

Ranked premade is actually lower - top 5% is 1454. Ranked 3man is NO ONE CARES. edit but for those that do it's 1434 | ||

It may or may not be effective and likely more so on Kayle then Jax since she only really "needs" cleanse and the other is up to the player since W + Ult can get you out of most ganks | ||

Isn't this change like SUPER huge? Doesn't it mean Physical damage attacks (Garen's Judgment/Panth's Spear etc.) now do 40% more damage with whisper? | ||

It depends, all of us tend to personalize our pages a bit but the base dps page is armor penetration marks and quints and mp5/lv seals and glyphs. If you feel like you've enjoyed taking mid with those characters it's probably because those characters are strong mids with simple gameplay, not because you have some "affinity" for them. Do NOT become one of those players that can only play ranged dps, they really make champion select not fun because your team is like "well, we need a tank/jungler/caster" and you're like "i play ashe, trist and MF". | ||

It's 40% armor penetration not 40% more damage. It means abilities like Judgment and spearshot will recieve the 40% armor penetration from last whisper now; it's exactly what it sounds like. | ||
