The build I've been going is like: Amp Tome -> soulstealer Merc Treads or Sorc Shoes Tear of the Goddess Rod of Ages Tear of the Goddess -> Archangel's Staff Zhonya's Lich Bane Anyone got any suggestions on stuff I should change? I'm relatively new to playing veigar but he's so much fun to play now that he's more viable. | ||

In other news, my last game featured a mid matchup of Veigar vs. Kassadin -- two anti-caster casters. The first time either of them died, they both killed eachother. yeah rylai's wouldn't be terrible on him but honestly the one game i played with him i just chose to max ap as absolutely high as i could... so after my zhonya's i went another zhonya's lol. by the end of the game i was hitting most of them for literally a fifth to a quarter of their health with a well placed ult | ||

I'd consider going for that first, before (or instead of) Archangel's. Also, Rylai's gives you a snare and HP, it's a great all around item for casters. | ||

Often I remember there being times where I'd be running from champs while my stun was on CD and except for summoner spells I had like no way to get away. Since Q is on such a short CD with rylai's I could probably use that to make getting away a lot easier (and chasing as well ofc) I've also heard a bunch about the triple doran's ring into zhonya's build (I think it was when I was playing with radjacob/soloside/etc and they were talking about it), I wonder if that'd be good. I'll need to experiment. | ||

Items, i start with pendent, 1 health pot, 1 mana pot then the HP regen item that comes shortly from pendent or fiendish if the other team has a lot of tanks. If i have like 1100 ill get my sorc boots for 20 spell pen which is great early game. Then soul stealer, then you can get rod of ages for mix of hp/AP, or ryla for the slowing ability and some AP, or death fire if theres a tank giving your team trouble. Zhonya's is a great item for veigar cuz its all AP and he loooves AP. Basically just stack more HP and AP. You dont really need tear, he has plenty of mana, more important to stack AP with your inventory spaces. The 40% spell pen scepter is good as a last item. Spells, i go clarity+ghost and i have a lot of success with those. I spam Q for last hits early game and use clarity as i need it. The AP builds up quickly when you max Q first. Ghost is great for dashing to set up a stun+darkmatter+baleful+ult combo. Flash is alright but its just a short distance i find ghost much more useful. Teleport is an option. Mastery, im only lvl 21 but i go 9/0/12 the 9 going to spell pen, then the 12 mostly for cooldown reduction and ghost. runes, probably just want ap runes based on lvl (for late game) with 2 sets (whichever you get most from) then mana for early game with the other set, AP Quins Im no pro but i have a 2.5/1 ratio with veigar with like 30/20 wins. | ||

1) L30 with 2 full, diverse rune pages. You can be plenty good and not have these, but it's just a pure handicap. 2) Not THAT much better than me. There are plenty of TLers who are way better than me; I'm not interested in just being carried. 3) Main at least 3 champs. Being really good with one champ is great right now, but it won't work in season 1. 4) Have Vent and a mic. Communication is key in premades. 5) No raging. Playing together means losing together -- you have to be able to forgive mistakes and let lost games go. PM me if interested. Including your mains would be helpful. I'm probably not the only one looking to get a team together...do we want some sort of organized TL team-making thing? | ||

There's gotta be something I'm missing.. it says it does 20% of the target's maximum health but it never seems like it does that much to me. I've been having a lot of problems with making warwick useful late game.. it seems like they just target me and I die instantly. At most I hope to kill one enemy before I die. | ||

It's really hard to balance damage output versus survival, and Warwick is notoriously bad when it comes to survival. He's got a relevance time period between around level 3 to level 12, and then he starts falling off at a really fast pace, so your team needs to abuse his relevancy and try to extend as much of an advantage as possible. | ||

I think I should be going attack damage to try for insta kills with my ult + Q. | ||

Warwick's job is to jungle, soloing dragon and eventually baron, while occasionally ganking. He doesn't do much in teamfights (he's an ok chaser, I guess), so I wouldn't focus on that too much. | ||

Oddly enough, at the moment he's trumped by Shaco when it comes to all of these things, though. Edit: On a side note, does it anyone else find it ridiculously funny that Master Yi actually sucks late-game? | ||
