Ah thanks for the help, you were right on me being confused between the two versions. It turns out he is out of the copies anyway. I think I will just end up getting the champions soon, its really a great game and I want to try out some more of the characters.

So I want to try out this game, but I'm a total newb. What what be a good bloodline to use if I want a high micro type hero? I really liked using Anivia in LoL for example.

You tried out the game yet? They are all "high micro type", due to the fact that you actually have to aim everything! I suggest you to add "Leek" when you get on and give me a whisper and we can play some games and I'll show you some stuff!

The beauty of the game is that every character is high micro. Just pick one that looks cool and go with it. I've got almost five days of playtime in this game and i have to say its one of the best games Iv'e ever played. You really can't go wrong with any of the bloodlines. They're all a blast to play. my name's fartblossom in game. Add me if you want. I'll help you out or introduce you to a few good players I've met.

if you want a champion with a lot to do.... (might be the best you will get considering what you want)

melee dps: maybe stalker
ranged dps: seeker? maybe? i dont think any of them apply

tank: guardian or thorn
healing: any but astro honestly (sorry astro fans!)

healing characters are the most involved imo, since you need to worry bout your team and your opponents at all times, keeping everyone alive while doing your cc's.... and maybe doing some damage (or a lot of damage as pomp and astro lol) while not dying

id go for a healer^^

edit: my breakdown on the healers (my opinions, really watered down)

if you think cc>heals>dps ... alchemist
if you think dps>heals=cc ... astro
if you think dps>heals>being selfish>cc ... pomp
if you like trying hard ... blood pri
if you think survivability=heals=cc>dps .. herald

Blood Priest is really good when you play with bad people. All his damage is long range cc, and you have to get m1s out to heal effectively so it keeps you on the ball offensively. Space is also one of the easiest healer escapes to use and it doubles as cc and damage. I recommend the fatty.

In queued 3v3s BP has some definite issues, but he's a bit more solid than people give him credit for as recent tournaments have shown. He definitely has a unique playstyle compared to the other healers, and you have to be offensive. Q,E,Space all are "heals" by ccing.

If you mean the most actions per second, Stalker is probably the most rewarded for melee (most people can't use her ult and such well), tough call between Seeker/Engi/Nomad for ranged (all of them have a lot of good skills that people don't use; Seeker's got the most CLICKCLICKCLICKCLICKCLICK of them all), Guardian or Vanguard for tanks, and for healers Astronomer followed by BP. Astro is CRAZY.

Edit:
Comparatively speaking most of the other bloodlines have multiple long CD skills that require more timing and precision than pure action speed. I think Astro definitely takes the cake in terms of pure speed though. Holy hell a good Astro in solo queue is ridiculously fast.

Most people online play from Europe, so peak would probably be in the afternoon for you (depending on timezone ofc)

been playing a bit, community is tiny but the game is really solid.

anyone familiar to wow PVP will like this game

also their selling point of "no x factor" such as level or better gear is a real selling point for me

dmg is static( ie. 14 dmg-- not 14-21 dmg) and once u get around the learning curve you really know how much dmg stuff does

tons of fun, 2v2 and 3v3

Looking for a third (preferably grade 19+) for some 3v3, both of us are experienced from beta week 3 and have been playing with pretty much the best people in game a lot! Preferably EU
