herald ult
i ult, hit someone, they get 40% amp damage for 8 seconds. options from there:
1- hit other people, more amp damage across the board 2- hit the same person, take him out of the fight for 4-ish seconds
lets say you take option 1
so you got multiple people you can focus, that have amp damage on them. you fear them for.... 30 damage? maybe more? m1 for over 16? r to block incoming heals?
seriously... herald ult is gonna..... fughhhhhh
i bought herald, time to use him methinks
herald ult + gunner + anything you want = UGH<3
i hope solo q is ready for that shit lol

Ult got strictly buffed.You still get deviate reset on M1 hits. The problem before was that if you don't hit that first M1, your ulti is useless.Or if you get incapped for 3-3.5s. So overall stalker is quite better, 2 teleports are infinite times better than just 1.
Guardian's remake is fun.You can space around like crazy now.Trance applying 1.2s silence is pretty sicko too.Silence is very close to stun as far as I'm concerned.
Herald's ult seems quite good, unless I'm misunderstanding how it works.I guess main use of it before was incapping two players for 5s and focusing the other one.But a guaranteed 40% amp for 8s on everyone seems rather ridiculous too.Or you can stack it on 1 guy twice for 64% amp for 8s.That's pretty good.

the herald ult lowers the amp damage if you hit the same target over and over, so its 40-24-8, not 40-56-72 (or whatever the percent is)
its now a choice of a long ass CC, or some amp damage with a lil cc in it, or a mix of the two.
and the reason im on the fence about stalkers ult is i only found it worth it if i hit like 3-4 times with the deviate/m1 combo. most the time i always think "god i wish i just ex-r'd instead"
the reduced cc effect is prob nice, but KNOWING i wont get that retarded burst damage, id rather just go invis often i think
will hafta play it out and see though, not having to hit m1 is nice, but its hard to gauge on paper is all.

Thanks for clarifying herald's ult.I guess it is a little bit meh then. What I meant about stalker is that her ulti got a strict buff.It works the same as before except you now also get a 50% CC reduction and 3s deviate CD as a bonus.
Other than that, yeah, EX R does seem more useful

Stalker seems more viable now, but I still don't really like having her on my team (impossible to heal). Also, having to get used to the triple jump instead of the double (keep targeting starting location instead of target location /sigh) She also just seems more underwhelming than Ranid and Harbinger, whom I feel are similar in playstyle.
I don't really feel Herald changed at all.
Mixed feelings on Guard; I feel like the old one was scarier... feels like her damage got axed pretty hard, in exchange for some immobile survivability.
Vanguard seems pretty awesome though, hilariously enough.

Harbinger is one of the best balanced heroes in the game right now. Ex2 might be a little bit too good, and ex1 a little bit too bad, but overall he's very well balanced.

I just tried the game and it's very addictive as you would expect, very fun and quick 5-10 minutes games with pure action. It seems there's less depth in the gameplay than I expected though, it feels overal like a WoW Arena minigame.
Nothing wrong with that, it's still hard to justify the 30$ pricetag, or even the... 90$ premium edition.

Play longer, you'll see depth. The skillcap is huge, and you'll notice it as you get better.
In other news, Psycho is very good for carrying your team in SMM. Been playing it a bunch to make up for my team's dumb positioning by swapping them away from danger or other-siding when dumb guys decide to tank Gunner/Inhib/Thorn ults. I wish I could just play Igniter all the time though. I fucking love Igniter.

Good Astros make me intensely jealous holy F, was playing against/with one guy who was averaging like 13CVS and was doubling up my stats, and I thought I was doing pretty good at 10-11 (way above my average).

lol, after losing 90 points in a massive losing streak I finally finished grinding back 80 of those. That was a long road back But it made me a better player!
Edit: Incidentally I complain a lot in the chat but I'm generally not even remotely as annoyed as I may sound (usually I find it amusing, even losing streaks, although I won't lie that they're frustrating, hahah). I just think all of us tend to vent about games and it's a decent spot to vent at each other about our miseries.

astro is probably one of the best classes in the game at gaining the dps/healing per second thingy (not sure the name haha). Like even when i don't do shit i average like 8, which is really good. Everything you do gives you a ton of damage/healing/control. it's a total different story then alche, cuz you usually have low scores as an alche unless you get a sick goo off.

Great game. You can feel that they made it to be played at a competitive level. If there are any imbalances they are very minor. Some team compositions are better at being defensive or offensive.

New stalker feels too strong, he's prolly pretty balanced, it's just the feel i get when i face him. Thoughts?
